The hotel was gorgeous, located in a historic part of town. Staff members were friendly, kind, and helpful-they helped us get our tours booked and additionally helped with transportation from the airport following a long flight. I enjoyed beginning each morning eating the delicious, made to order breakfast with a wide variety of fruit available as well. I would stay here again.

Historic building located right in the middle of old town. Great dinner and good breakfast. Not recommended for an early flight, as it is a distance from the airport. But great when touring the city.

Old world charm in the historic center. We were able to walk to many sights and restaurants. The breakfast had fresh fruit and juices, a hot dish featuring regional cuisine, eggs, and a great selection of breads. Coffee, not so great. Shower was hot and very clean. Room 217 was noisy from plumbing or sump pump and no blackout curtains for sleeping. Overall an excellent hotel and very helpful staff.

Hotel Andaluz is beautiful. It is situated in a safe area of the historical section of Quito. Our room was large, there are a number of sitting areas throughout the hotel to meet up or relax. A rooftop area also. The buffet breakfast is extensive, breads, treats, fruit, cereal, eggs, meat, vegetables and much more. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Good location to the old town section of Quito but a bit run down with the air-conditioning not working well in at least 2 rooms and non-existent in a third that we were offered. Our friends also needed to move from their room because of noise coming from the kitchen. The restaurant was open until 10 PM which was appreciated and the food and drinks were good but a bit on the expensive side. A limited buffet breakfast was available each morning but something you could easily skip.

Loved the location just 1 block off the main square. The room was huge and comfortable with lots of electric outlets. The security guard was helpful, made us feel very secure, and watched out for the guests. Even helped us confirm that the Uber driver was who he said he was as the license plate did not match the app. Breakfast was good and the hours were long. Bar was cozy and they gave us a coupon for a welcome drink. The hotel reached out to us in advance and offered to arrange private transfer from airport to hotel which we took advantage of. Nice that we did not need to do the research ourselves. The driver was waiting for us at airport exit with our name on a panel. Paid in cash (it was about $50 USD I think) as he did not accept credit cards. Bathroom amenities could have included body lotion - at altitude the air is very dry and for a hotel of this caliber I expected to have some in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel.
