The staff was very poor !

We are longtime visitors to this hotel due to its location and easy access fo the airport. We never had an issue before but our last issue was one for the history books. We paid for one room and extended our stay through Expedia selecting the option to pay when we get to the hotel. The check in counter helped us to keep our room and everything started normally. Then came the strange thing. The supervisor called my husband abroad to tell him we did not pay and settle the payment and let me know. I was in my room for four hours and never stopped by. Later he demanded we pay and even came in our room without our permission to make sure we were legitimate. Then the final straw. They locked us out of our room!! This while I was with my daughter and having my own personal issues to deal with. After I erupted at them for this behavior they wanted to make it right in all fairness by offering me a token discount but I declined. I never want to come back here after this experience. Make sure you prepay because unlike many hotels that treat you with respect and understand you will pay when you leave as an option this one does neither. It isn’t an option for payment OF respect. This wa before an international trip when I needed to rest on my leg of the journey. Shame on you Le Meridian and Marriot by extension.

It was our refuge as we attempted to leave the country after hostilities broke out in Iran.

Le Meridien Cairo is my go-to for stopovers in Cairo, an easy short walk from arrivals area. The staff has always been helpful and accommodating especially when arriving at odd hours at CAI. The facilities are well maintained. The breakfast has quite the variety. Looking forward to my next visit or stopover in Cairo!

Very short stay at property as for early morning flight but everything went very smoothly and staff very helpful.

The best part is the location of the hotel right inside the airport. Very convenient.

Excellent 5 stars hotel from every aspect, Top property well maintained, but above all the best staff in all areas of the hotel from the front desk to restaurants to coffee shop to the pool! It is like my time share property in Cairo, excellent massage by the pool by professional and polite Kamar , excellent hookah and drinks at the bar by the pool and panoramic view. IN SUMMARY MY FAVORITE HOTEL IN CAIRO FOR LAST 10 YEARS !

Its perfect !!!

Needed to be close to airport for early departure. There is a 5 min walking bridge to/from hotel which is great. Hotel is ideal, nice, and well kept. Restaurant by the pool was enjoyable.

An excellent hotel, with many facilities. Extremely clean and pleasant appearance, and excellent, welcoming staff. Reception very welcoming and efficient on arrival, and checkin very quick.We were given a room change at our request, and with availability of rooms with our preferred view, we were very quickly accommodated and assisted to move rooms to our preferred side of the hotel, giving ourselves and son rooms on the same floor and vicinity. Nothing otherwise wrong with the room. Buffet breakfast had plentiful choice, food was fresh and well presented. Sports bar good but air conditioning too harsh for us and others. Staff pleasant and helpful, and thank you to Asmaa our room attendant who kept our room immaculately clean and tidy throughout our stay. Always pleasant smiling and welcoming. Also a big thank you to Gloria, Guest Relations Manager who helped to make our stay such a good experience, and ensured that our stay was as good as it possibly could be, ensuring that any issues were dealt with quickly and effectively. This was our second stay at this hotel snd I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those like ourselves who were only staying for a short visit. It was a haven for relief from the noise, hustle and bustle of the busy city, and it is very easy and inexpensive to take taxis to anywhere within the city. We stayed on the fourth floor overlooking the pool, and couldn’t hear the planes at all, and would definitely stay there again.

We booked on a Friday night with an extremely early flight the next morning. Unfortunately there were three weddings at the hotel that evening. One was outside and the music was very loud and went on until midnight. I think this is bizarre at an airport hotel where people need sleep for international flights. Also, our toilet was broken and although it was mended the flush panel then fe off the wall.

Lovely warm staff. Room was spotless. Food was very good. Pool was clean and staff were attentive.

Great breakfast extremely fresh food. The room is clean staff friendly and property overall amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone that is looking for no trouble. Great stay in Cairo.

We stayed two separate nights the beginning and end of our trip. The first stay the floor was soaking wet in our room. The second stay, after a long day of travel, the non-smoking room in the non-smoking property, smelled very strong of smoke. Returning to the front desk, they “they could they could move us to another room.” Moved from the West wing 3rd floor to the other wing (different elevators) to the entire 2nd floor in the east wing smelling like smoke. The second room was less smoky than the first so we crashed asleep not wanting to deal with moving again. It’s a great property but the lack of attention to details and the going above and beyond I receive with Bonvoy properties. I don’t expect concessions, but not offering even a free drink (Bonvoy points, discount on rate, etc) exemplified the poor service. Sadly we liked the variety of restaurants (ate twice at Red china it was so good) and the pool area but the cons of poor service, conditions of the rooms & attention to details outweigh these pros.

I was given an early check in- thank you Meridien staff. The room was not exceptional as usual- I use this hotel regularly for business.
