We stayed in the hotel for a long bank holiday weekend. I thought the price was excellent for the level of comfort and luxury that you receive. I booked a room with two double beds for myself and my parents. The room was spacious and generally clean, but could do with more frequent room servicing. The rooms are serviced every three days which was the entire duration of my stay. Perhaps every second day might be better just to get some fresh towels, cups and a little bit of a clean. But otherwise the property is in good condition. You pay about £12 per person per day for breakfast which is fair, the breakfast buffet is decent. For vegetarians, vegetarian sausages are available but this is not mentioned, we only knew because we asked. It might be worth mentioning somewhere in the restaurant so that vegetarians are aware. Porridge is also available but must be ordered separately, it is not in the buffet. The leisure and gym facilities are excellent and are included in your price. There is plenty of parking. But an EV charger would be a bonus for those travelling from afar. The area is quiet and green. There is a golf course, which we didn’t use, but offers nice walks as well for those who don’t golf. Finally, the spa treatments are offered separately but are extremely fairly priced, and the stuff they are super friendly and nice. The quality of the treatments are excellent and I would recommend anyone staying in the hotel to get at least one. Overall would recommend.

We recently stayed at Hollins Hotel and Spa and overall had a lovely experience. The hotel is in a great area with plenty of parking available, which made arriving and getting around really easy. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and we definitely felt it was good value for money. The spa facilities were a highlight — the pool, hot tub, and sauna were all really nice and well maintained. The changing rooms were also clean and tidy, although the lockers were a little confusing to use at first. We stayed in one of the suites, which was large and spacious with a nice little sitting area to relax in. The big TV was a great touch and already had all the streaming services downloaded. Unfortunately, the WiFi was quite poor, so streaming quality was a bit hit and miss at times. The only main downsides for us was the bed, as the mattress was very firm and thin. A memory foam topper or upgraded mattress would make a huge difference to comfort. Also, the check out time was 10:30am which we thought was quite early. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

A lovely hotel if not a little dated. I invited staff are helpful and efficient but at the weekend the leisure centre has reduced hours and the pool is closed after 6pm. So if these is the main reason for your visit you should be aware

No food in late evening which was a shame as I missed dinner at an event I was attending in Leeds. Overnight the hotel was very noisy with sound travelling between floors etc. The staff were nice but a little indifferent. The breakfast was part cold and the coffee was terrible. Didn’t get a chance to try the spa.

The hotel is ideally situated for Leeds Bradford airport and I have used it several times as a night before the stupid o”clock flight the next day. Parking is easy and disabled spaces are right outside the reception entrance. Better policing of unauthorised use of the disabled parking spaces could be reviewed. I fly too early to sample the breakfast unfortunately. I have never used any of the amenities except for the restaurant. The food is good and set at a reasonable price. The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful I will be back again in two weeks and then again in September. There may be more but that is all I have booked for work and pleasure at the time of writing this year. I would recommend.

Parking was fine, breakfast was good with normal selection. Pool was good, they laned it off so you had areas to swim or play. Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all over 16 only and good. The down sides were :- no fridge in the room and they only make up rooms after 3 days, so no clean mugs/glasses. You could get tea and coffee from reception to put in the dirty mugs! (I am sure the person who thought of this as a money saving drinks from the same mug constantly for 3 days!) On the whole I can make a bed and if there was a station to swop mugs and glasses for clean ones this would work better.

Hotel seemed nice overall. Room was small and quite tired but seemed clean. The downside was the bed it was the most uncomfortable bed I have stayed in in a hotel and the one pillow was so hard and lumpy we both had a really bad sleep. Did not use the restaurant or leisure facilities so cannot comment on these. Because of the bed alone I would not return unfortunately.
