Very good hotel, good value and location ideal for where we were going. Air con very good too, slept well.

Nice room, very clean and comfy bed. In quite a quite area. There was a heat wave when I stayed and the air conditioning kept my room lovely and cool. Car park right across the road with CCTV and a security guard doing periodic checks. DLR train station a couple of minutes walk away. I would stay here again.

Stayed here several times over the years. Starting to look tired but does the job when you need to be near the Excel.

The twin room and bathroom were small but to be expected. There is no closet but there is a place to hang clothes. Don’t forget your washcloth like I did.

The staff are extremely helpful. First day I arrived early morning, 7:30 am and my room was supposed to be ready for 3:00 pm. one of the crew took special care of me and she made arrangements for my room to be ready by 10:00 am. she did an amazing job. The hotel lacks a proper restaurant and some minor maintenance issues. I had fish and chips one night and it was frozen boxed fish that you can purchase as any grocery store. The shower drain was plugged, they had to come and fix, the shower head was not working as it is supposed to be. The molding on the walls, it was swelled up from the moisture. Minor maintenance issues were clear at the property. Will I stay there again, may be, but definitely not at the prices that I paid. it was overpriced for what it was.

the rooms were very clean and the airconditioning was excellent for the hot days. we had a great time at the hotel and the staff was very helpful.

I choose this hotel as it was in close proximity to Excel. This was a special treat for my daughter's birthday & although the Hampton by Hilton next door was less than half & included breakfast to the Moxy i wanted to spend more as thought it must be better & looked great for youngsters. The room was extremely hot & we were unable to change the temperature control as this is controlled by the hotel. There is a sign saying if it's too hot in the room open the window which was a tiny opening. For the price i woukd expect a wardrobe, a safe, a telephone for room service as well as a clean bathroom. The bottom of the shower was very dirty & extremely small as well as the bedroom which had 2 small single beds. We stayed at the Hampton next door the next night & got two double beds, a much bigger room & superb bathroom, all the amenities you would expect in your room & this also included a very nice breakfast. Bearing in mind the Moxy cost almost double I can assure you I will not be staying in a Moxy again.

Came for MCM comic con - it was well placed at just a 10 minute walk from the back exit of the excel centre. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and had the most delicious air con which was needed during a heatwave! There was a 24hr bar which meant that you could pop down and grab a cold drink/snack if you needed to as well. Would definitely rebook!

The breakfast was fabulous with multiple varieties for food and drinks with fresh bakeries and strong coffee. The staff were very smily and cheerful. The room was clean organized with multiple facilities. I really enjoyed my stay there and I would think of booking again in this hotel when I come again to London.
