I loved the Village feel, proper little pub with loads of character. Staff were were friendly from the time I booked in. Breakfast was amazing and tasty. My room was cosy very quiet had the best night sleep in a long time bed very comfy.

Wow , what a find . Will be staying here when visiting Bristol again . Great location , quiet , yet close to motorway . The room was excellent. The food outstanding . Parking outside , although landed on school run , so had to wait 5 mins and car park was empty . Cannot wait to stay again

Nice place, shame about the noise.. single room on ground floor was fine, but lots of bashing about around 11:00 and 05::00, assume it was stuff being put away / delivered. Staff really nice and food very nice. Overall a top place just didn't get the most restful night's sleep!

Interesting old pub with good real ale. Evening dinner was very good but I found the full English breakfast a little disappointing. Bacon should be back and not two small rashers of streaky. The sausage was tough to break in to. The rest was okay.
The room was spacious and had all the facilities. Would recommend for an overnight stay although you will need satnav to find it.

The fire in the pub not lit even though it was a really cold night in winter and had to beg them to put it on.
Several items on the menu were not available to order
Was told I could not go for breakfast before 9am
( on a week day ) and had to beg to go earlier as had an early meeting. When I went to breakfast however , there were only two tables that were busy - the rest were empty !!!

Checked in, then I was told I couldn’t eat in the bar or restaurant, as there is a a quiz night on, and all the tables are reserved for the quiz.
The quiz was noisy and heard in my room till late, as they opened all the corridor doors !
