Breakfast was non-existant although paid for. Was dissapointed to be told on arrival that what appeared from the website to be full english breakfast was in fact only going to be a continental breakfast which would be left in a small fridge upstairs. Was even more disappointed to find the fridge empty in the morning. Mis-selling breakfast left a stain on what was an otherwise great stay with great staff attention and good evening meal.

TV in bedroom didn’t work. It was reported and nothing happened. Sink took forever to drain. Shower was next to useless. Videos to prove. Room condition in general was poor. Breakfast was going to be in a box in fridge in the morning, eventually agreed to b my take a hot breakfast roll.

The bed was comfortable, I enjoyed the pub on the Wednesday night, and breakfast on the first morning was excellent. Unfortunately though... The pub isn't open Monday & Tuesday so I was unable to get an evening meal on the first night There was no breakfast provided on the second morning. I stood around in the breakfast area for 20 minutes (at the same time as I had breakfast the first morning), rang the service bell several times, but there was no one there. I had to go to work without breakfast. The WiFi doesn't reach the rooms The TV had no signal The blind did not work The room was so small you can't open the wardrobe door fully Only 3 coat hangers in wardrobe. The shower is not effective, water just dribbles out.

On arrival venue was closed with work being done to the roof. After a couple of calls and texts, was greeted and shown to my room (room2). The room was lovely, bed really comfortable, decent sized cups for tea/coffee in room. The radiator in the room was not on and the radiator in the ensuite was on. The TV did not have a remote - I did get one later but there was no terrestrial TV available only streaming. I had my evening meal here, had one of the burgers which was really tasty but the "chips" which came with it were crispy french fries. On website stated breakfast started at 7am (which is one of the reasons I booked it), then when asked what time I would like breakfast got a reply of "he normally doesn't start until 7:30". I then said I would just take a bacon roll. What I got was 4 rashers of bacon, no bread. For the money I would not stay here again.

First night I was welcomed and breakfast was lovely. However after returning from a wedding at 8.30pm the pub was in darkness. I went to my room and slept, on going down the next morning, I could not find anyone. I rang the bell called by phone and shouted. After waiting for several minutes I wrote a note and left for my journey back to Heathrow. My room was cold, no heating and the TV didn't work. Thankfully I had my IPad. I don’t like writing poor reviews but had no choice as nobody was around to discuss my issues. I won’t be going back. The pub is lovely but think they should forget about offering B&B unless they can improve. Ended up with a Mars Bar for breakfast.

Spent two great days at this B&B. It's off the main highways in a small village environment. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. We had a warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful, friendly and made our stay relaxing. The room was large, clean and stocked with tea, coffee and water. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast bun was amazing, the bacon and sausage tasted great. We had an evening meal which was also prepared and cooked well. I had home made Pizza (loads of toppings to choose from) and my wife had an amazing burger. All in all a great stay. Really Recommend this establishment, and I hope we've back again soon.
