The entire staff was professional, enthusiastic, and welcoming. The room with 2 terraces was one of the nicest I have ever had the privilege to experience. The breakfast was included and had everything you would expect in a modern mountain atmosphere. We also dined at the “cafe” overlooking the golf course which had a very fun vibe and excellent food. Thank you to your entire staff for making us welcome and well taken care of.

Beautiful grounds in the weather was beautiful in July as well. They had fans to help with the heat hotel staff are friendly and courteous. I wish the pool was open later than 8 PM. The hotel rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean and mine had a unbelievable view of the mountains kids able to rent an E-bike to ride up to Eagles Nest. Gorgeous grounds and flowers in window boxes

We were happy to stay. We found everything what we need. Food was nice for the price. Service in the restaurant need to improve. Dinner time was a little bit Chaotic the first night so we didn’t go again. Breakfasts was nice. It’s a nice hotel to spend few days of relaxing. It’s worth it!

It is great for relaxing! It is very near to the tourist spots, i.e. 5-15 mins ride. The breakfast selection is in a great variety. The hotel staff are nice and always try to help you. The wellness amenities are well-managed. It is very recommended to stay there

I can't say enough about this hotel. A fantastic location, just five minutes from Lake Konigsee and a few more from Berchtesgaden, and the scenery! Perched high on a hillside, the view of the mountains and the lake valley was spectacular. I greatly enjoyed eating and relaxing on the patio and the yard, where lounge chairs wait for you to recline with a book. The food was excellent and the service personal and friendly. The hotel's decor is charming and folksy, and the room was comfortable and well-appointed. I wished I could stay longer!

This hotel has everything. The view, restaurant, wellness, location are all way above average. We stayed 2 nights and will try to return someday to stay longer. The breakfast is very good and the evening dinners are also very good. The afternoon cake and light lunch that is included with the room is also very nice. Staff is friendly and parking on premise is a plus.

We had originally booked for one night but ended up staying a second night due to the beautiful property, its location and the wonderful staff. Good breakfast and the 1/2 fare dinner menu was quite good. Enjoyed having a beer on the sunny patio after a hike. Highly recommend this hotel as it is away from the touristy arenas provides beautiful vistas of the mountains out the windows.

We chose this hotel to be close to Berchesgarten but not right in town. It was an easy taxi/bus ride and near the national park with lots of hiking trails, lake, fanicular. On-site restaurant served local specialties. Great spa facility including sauna, pools, workout equipment.

Loved our stay here. The room was lovely. The bathroom decadent. The workout room was great; we also swam in the pool and played in the kids' area. The restaurant had surprisingly good food. The views of the alps and Lake Konigsee from our room were divine.

My husband, daughter and I had a lovely stay. The restaurant was exceptional...one of our best meals in Germany. The pools and sunning areas were fabulous, but the prize for us was the under-utilized clay tennis court next to the "Wald," under the overhanging Kehlsteinhaus or "Eagles Nest." Nice quiet area and so much space, indoors and out. Beautiful room...I could have stayed for a month!

Our stay at the Alpenhof was unparalleled by any other hotel. The service was friendly and helpful (they helped get us into the Eagles Nest tour without a reservation), the views are spectacular, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the food is absolutely outstanding. The Alpenhof is fairly close to Berchtesgaden, so getting a Taxi into town was not obtrusive, and they even have a bus right outside the driveway if you have time to wait. Overall, I think it might be the best hotel experience I have ever had; when I go back to Berchtesgaden, I will not stay anywhere else.
