Great hotel walking distance to the underground. Amazing free breakfast buffet with some unique items that were fun to try. Quiet area and free parking for a reasonable price.

The pool and sauna were great, as was the very good breakfast. The fitness centre was a little tired. The staff were lovely. The rooms were very hot without air conditioning, especially as we had a room at the front which was very sunny. It was also noisy when people were returning from a night out, but that was likely because we were right above the entrance with our windows wide open trying to get cool.

On arrival late in the evening, the front desk were extremely helpful in getting us checked in and explaining about the hotel services and facilities. We had a slight issue on arrival in that one of the rooms had been set up for one person and the other was not as clean as we would have expected (bathroom). The night desk was extremely helpful and sorted the issues immediately. Mention was made that the new housekeeping service were not living up to the expected standards. As a location to jump into the city, they offered a free shuttle to the local metro station, however we used Uber through out our trip. Note - Ubers are cheaper by 30% when compared to metered taxi's. The day staff on the desk and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful with no question to difficult. The facilities included a gym which was well organised. The sauna was not available when we looked to use the facilities and the pool was very cold even though we were informed it was supposed to be 28c. Overall, the Hotel Am Moosfeld feels like an older hotel that has had a recent refit to the bathrooms and bedrooms, however, the rest of the public places needed to be lifted to give a more modern feel. Highly recommended for the rooms, staff and food (breakfast and dinner were awesome). The location detracts but this is made up in how reasonable the room rates were.
