Hotel Deutscher Kaiser

My mother and I stayed at this hotel when visiting the area for my uncles funeral. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and allocated us the most comfortable room with the best view of the promenade and the boats passing. The decor was nice, and the room was a decent size with a nice seating area to enjoy the view. The location was fantastic for local shops and restaurants. There were two choices for breakfast, served from 7-12. Upstairs in the garden room and then downstairs in Jo’s. Breakfast had a reasonable choice and was very nice. The downsides were the bed wasn’t so long. I am tall (6ft) and my feet hung off the end. There was also no security safe which is helpful when you are staying from abroad and have passport etc. the fridge also was super loud and so at night we had to switch it off. Parking is a short walk from the hotel and chargeable at 5euro per night, but there is parking in the street nearer the hotel which is free from 6pm until 10am. All in all, a very pleasant and comfortable hotel and we would certainly consider returning.

We have stayed at this hotel before and we chose it again as the views of the river are amazing. Huge ships sail up and down the river and it is a sight to behold. The room was comfortable and there are chairs and a table to sit in front of the huge picture window and watch the world go by.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und ansprechend gestaltet. Das Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam, und auch das Frühstück war gut.

Værelset og personalet. Men - - - - meget vanskeligt at finde. - ca. 500 m. at gå til hotellets P-plads. - restauranten vinterlukket Men der var et par gode restauranter lige udenfor, så det sidste var ikke et ptoblem.

Hyggeligt værelse i gammel stil . Fantastisk udsigt til vandet . Central beliggenhed.

Lite svårt att hitta parkeringen. En liten karta hade hjälpt. Trevlig frukost med glad och välkomnande personal.

Das Hotel liegt zentral. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Parkplätze sind etwas entfernt vom Hotel.

Zentrale Lage in Travemünde ! Sehr gutes Frühstück + leckerer Filterkaffee :-) Fahrradabstellmöglichkeiten im Innenhof Sehr freundliches Personal !

Underbart hotell - rent och fräscht och mycket bra standard

Architektonische Meisterleistung im Bad. Nur für mich als leicht korpulent, ist ein bequemer Stuhlgang nicht möglich. Alles viel zu eng und teilweise nicht nutzbar. Gesamt sollte mal saniert werden. Alles wirkt sehr alt

Eine absolut gute Adresse für eine Übernachtung in Travemünde. Direkt in der Fußgängerzone. Parkplätze vorhanden, aber nicht direkt am Hotel. Frühstück sehr gut.

Zentrale komfortable Unterkunft, persönlicher Service, kurze Wege

Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vom Hausmeister wird man wegen falscher Parkplatzwahl angemeckert. Parkplatzsituation insgesamt angespannt. Für unser Empfinden nicht sehr familienfreundlich. Wir haben uns nicht wirklich wohl gefühlt. Lage ist aber hervorragend und das Frühstück reichhaltig.

Keine Klima im Zimmer! Erreichbarkeit mit dem Fahrzeug kompliziert, sehr schlechte Beschreibung, selbst bei Nachfrage beim Personal. Die Handhabung diesbezüglich geht gar nicht .... Das Personal hat uns kühl und desinteressiert aufgemmen. Wir haben die Freundlichkeit als unzureichend empfunden. Frühstücksbuffet gut. An Laffeeautomaten wird gespart - einer für Alle .... Die Lage ist sehr gut. Schöner angenehmer Wintergarten, mit ansprechender wohlfühlatmosphäre. Wir haben per Internet gebucht und empfinden die Beschreibung als Nichtzutreffend. Wir bewerten das Haus als befriedigende Pension in sehr guter Lage, sauber, gutes Frühstück, jedoch unklimatisiert, schlechte Parkmöglichkeit und sehr unfreundliches Personal.
