Hotel Alkyon

This was an amazing stay. All was sensational from breakfast , room, and sunset view. I would have given the Alkyon a perfect score but the Pool Bartender was very greedy for drink sales. The first time at the beautiful pool we ordered belinis. Honestly they fell flat as they lacked bubbles and were not cold. So we opted on our next visit to stay away from alchohol and brought a couple of vitamin C rich orange juice, They came in plastic bottles so ...no worries by the pool. The Bartender informed us we could only drink beverages from the bar with exception of water upon his approval. It was dimeaning and repulsivily controlling. We decided that the beach would suffice rather than being bullied over beverages. Sad because the rest of the staff was amazing and this place deserved a perfect review untarnished by this event, We didnot think the situation warranted further thought as the Bartender touted rules that felt like a long winded excuse and we had a beautiful island to explore. The breakfast on the other hand was fabulous. The drivers, reception, and room service impeccable. Absolutly lovely.

The hotel is very clean, with spacious rooms and a wonderful view. It is conveniently located near the airport, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and affordable. The only minor drawback was the steep climb to the hotel back from the old town , but everything else made up for it.

Lovely hotel with a fantastic swimming pool overlooking the town and the sea. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a hidden footpath across the road that leads downhill to the old port and town, both of which are about a 10-minute walk away.

Lovely hotel on the hill overlooking Mykonos town. Beautiful sunset view and only a 10 minute walk into the town. Very nice pool area and rooms were really clean. All staff were really helpful and friendly.

Très belle hotel a 15 minutes du port avec leur service de navette gratuite. L'hotel est à 15 minutes à pied des principales attractions du centre ville de Mykonos (vieux moulins, Little Venice et vieux port); c'est une bonne remontée au retour. Nous avions une magnifique vue sur ces attractions et la mer de notre chambre. Prendre note que la piscine n'est pas chauffée donc en début mai elle était très froide. Personnel à la réception très serviable pour vous recommander des activités, restaurants ou vous aider avec votre location de véhicule.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean with a beautiful view. The products in the room were good quality. Breakfast had lots of options. The pool and loungers were wonderful and well maintained. The location is pretty good. It is a little bit of a walk into town, but that means for a quieter night sleep. We left an item behind and once the right staff person got involved, they were very helpful in getting it shipped to our next hotel. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent property and very convenient to walk into town. Very clean and in good condition. Breakfast was great, cooked fresh every day.

From the property you could see the beautiful landscape and sunset. Breakfast was really nice with a beautiful view. Great location. The only thing I didn’t like was that tv channels were very limited and only Greek language channels. The tv’s were not smart tv’s to be able to at least watch Netflix.

Rooms and property as a whole was exceptionally clean. There was a large variety of foods for breakfast that they rotated through throughout the week. The staff were very helpful giving us recommendations and arranging transportation. The location offers beautiful views and is about a 10 minute walk into the town of Mykonos. There's a beautiful pool area with lots of sun loungers and soft music playing all day. There's also a bar by the pool with a friendly bartender.

Alkyon is a good location. Close enough to walk to Little Venice, but far enough to avoid the cruise ship crowds.

Fabulous hotel. Staff helpful and lovely! The only fault was breakfast unfortunately. Poor choice and food cold. Walk into Mykonos town quite long and steep but with good shoes manageable. Otherwise super hotel and would go again!

Beautiful hotel with spectacular views of Mykonos. I only wish we had better weather during my stay to enjoy it even more. Excellent breakfast and a very nice staff that will help you in any way. Clean rooms and beautiful pool area.

Amazing experience. Conveniently close to everything Mykonos has to offer. friendly, welcoming and super helpful staff. Beautiful hotel. Would recommend anyone visiting Mykonos to stay here.

This hotel was exceptional. The staff were very attentive and the room quality and breakfast top notch. It is true that the hotel is a distance away by foot to the village area, but the hotel transport was always available at a low cost.

The staff was so friendly here! Hotel was very clean, rooms had everything you needed and were very clean and spacious. The views from the hotel are 10/10. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Little Venice.

There’s a free shuttle from the port to the hotel if you give them a heads up. You will be amazed by the views and they really took their time to give recommendations and explain the ins and outs of Mykonos. Will 100% stay here again!

First, I liked this place so much during the first visit to Mykonos that I knew I had to come back. Second, the rooms are impeccably clean with many amenities from a great breakfast with plenty of options to a wonderful pool area complete with awesome service. And lastly, everyone is just so helpful and nice. Oh, I will be back again someday!!! I rarely return to a property, but this one is a favorite.
