What Guests Say About Their Stay

This hotel offers a fantastic view of the attractions in the harbor area as well as the sunset. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is so kind and accommodating to allow us to have breakfast almost one hour earlier than the regular schedule so we can catch our flight back to Athens. The hotel is only several minutes by car from the airport and about 15 minutes by foot to the harbor. Because it sits on the hill overlooking the sea, it does take a little more effort to walk from the harbor to the hotel. The facility is very clean and comfortable. We are so glad that we have made a right choice.

Great breakfast. It is a walk uphill from the old port to this location. But the view from the room compensated for that.

Great sea view. Room and bed great. Bathroom in our room though was like a closet. We did get an early check in so sometimes that affects some things about the room. I would stay again. The location to the ferry port and closer to airport than Athens was great. The manager was great. Really enjoyed visiting with him and dinner was amazing and very reasonably priced.

We had a good stay at Hotel Pelican. The staff was friendly and the service was good throughout our visit. However, the property itself feels a little dated and could use some upgrades. The biggest challenge was the location — the hotel sits on a steep hill, and walking back up after going down to Mykonos Town was quite difficult, especially with kids. Overall, a decent stay with good service, but keep the hill in mind when booking.

Very friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. We both are physically able, but if you have mobility deficits getting to the town may be difficult as there is a pretty steep road to walk up/down. But overall very cloae to the town and convenient.

Spacious room and amazing view from the terrace. The breakfast was adequate, usual stuff like juice, bread, cereal, eggs, cheese, yogurt etc. We went from the New Port to the Old Port via Sea Bus (runs every 15 minutes) and the walk took around 25 minutes. The hotel is very near to Fabrika bus station but buses are not that frequent from New Port. The last bit is very uphill and takes a lot of effort to climb up the steps.

My eighth stay at the lovely Hotel Pelican, and the experience was still as great as ever! Fabulous views over Mykonos Town and towards the sunsets, which were more dramatic than usual this year. Friendly and helpful staff, who always did whatever they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel IS at the top of a long steep hill, but this year my partner and I still managed to walk back up it every night after dining out in the town below, albeit with a couple of stops on the way... The location could be a consideration for those with compromised mobility though. Otherwise, we hope to be back again next year! Huge thanks to all the team at the Hotel Pelican.
