Hablis Hotel

Decent hotel, 15min drive from airport, rooms were clean, comfortable bed, good WiFi, sumptuous buffet breakfast with a large variety to choose and quality was exceptional. Staff service was ok.

Room was smelling stuffy. Staff came and cleaned and sprayed to make it better. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you

Property is overall neat. Room they gave was a room meant for handicapped. The sink was hardly usable and so it the toilet. Overall the toilet didn’t have the feel of a 4 star hotel and it felt more like a 1 star hotel. Room otherwise was okay. Buffet breakfast overall good. Asked for cold milk for cereal few times and after 20 mins or so, gave up on cold milk. When someone opened the back door, I could see the entrance to kitchen and the door looked extremely dirty. I will not be staying at this hotel for sure.

Not to the expected what it should be of the category rated. The front office staff not adequately trained , the id proof collected for check in was not returned and service also what is should be to the category rated . Overall not encouraging .

We booked this hotel for a one night stay because we had a layover for 12 hours. Since this was close to the airport and highly rated, we ended

The food and room service was really good. The rates are also reasonable for the services

The rooms itself were not bad but the service was not satisfactory. When asked for something they reply rudely and cut your words.

Staff and service are excellent, yet the roof top facility is missing

The proportion was a good one. However the room service and the reception need significant improvement in guest handling.

At most this hotel is a 2.5 or 3 star hotel even by India’s standards. I was surprised when I entered that it was given such a high rating. The WiFi didn’t work when we arrived which made it impossible to get work done. The public areas of the hotel smelled like sewer especially the restrooms near the bar on L1 which were unbearable. The staff tried to charge us an extra $1,100 per night on checkout after we prepaid for the room. We got into an argument with the manager over this who would not take the charge off. I had to call Expedia who was great and ended up crediting my account for the charge the hotel wanted to add onto my account. I would suggest you stay at a different hotel if you are in Chennai.
