What Guests Say About Their Stay

We enjoyed a lovely stay in early June. The daily breakfast is delicious. The hotel has everything you need in terms of good restaurant, bar with excellent bar tender, beautiful grounds, refreshing pool and use of some spa facilities without additional charge. Staff were helpful with information about the best ways to get around the area and local recommendations. A lot went wrong on our day of travel to get to Sirmione, and so we arrived pretty late, and our check in was so quick and they helped right away with our luggage, and the kitchen accommodated a late snack for us. We were so appreciative and would definitely recommend Hotel Olivi.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, breakfast was delicious. We didn’t use the spa but pool was nice. Great location, away from the crowds but you need a car to get your luggage there. Driving thru town was nerve wrecking but when you get there, it’s all good. Our only regret is we only stayed two nights. Ask the front desk how to operate the AC. It’s tricky.

Just had a wonderful 5 days at the Olivi. The staff are fantastic, friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful throughout and before our stay, big thanks to Georgie for arranging our airport transfers and making our wedding anniversary even more special. The place is spotless and well maintained. Gardens and pool area are beautiful. Rooms clean and well presented. Cleaned every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was super, lots of choices at the buffet and other items can be made to order. Location is great too with a great view of the lake. A nice stroll to the restaurants in the historic centre or up to Jamaica beach. Didn’t use the spa but it looked beautiful. Can’t really find any faults with the Olivi. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Everything about this hotel was superb. The room was nice with a balcony looking towards Lake Garda. We had clean towels every day and fresh bedding after two days. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and you could have extra cooked breakfast for a small charge. The staff everywhere were really pleasant and friendly, always smiling. We didn't use the Spa but got towels from the Spa for the outdoor pool. It was only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Sirmione where you could visit the castle or take a boat or ferry on the lake.

Staff were very helpful. The room was clean and well decorated. We were lucky to have a balcony and view of lake. Breakfast was plentiful with a great varied selection and staff in restaurant very attentive. The spa was an added bonus as weather was rainy in afternoon we spent a few hours on spa which was relaxing and outdoor jacuzzi amazing. Staff in spa were also very accommodating.

The hotel is situated in a quite area of Sirmione which given the crowds, it's nice to get away from. It is however a very short walk back into town where you will find lots of restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel was OK - our room was rather small and dated. Simple things like a hook for the towel would be good to add. Also disappointing that the outdoor pool was freezing but if you wanted to use the indoor pool you have to pay an additional £25 per person. I can understand if you want a treatment, but a quick swim - seems a little excessive for a couple to be asked to pay £50. Staff were lovely and friendly though.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Olivi - the staff were all lovely and very welcoming, and made our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The room interiors were modern and well furnished/decorated with plenty of space and the pool is sizeable and not too crowded, even in the height of summer. Hotel Olivi is easily walkable from to the Sirmione Old Town, and is ideally located as a base for exploring Lake Garda.

This is one of my favorite places in Sirmione because it’s set apart from the craziness of the medieval village and it’s very quiet and beautiful. The part my wife and I loved the most is the cats. This property is very car friendly and has five resident cats that are allowed inside the lobby and just hang out on the sofa and chairs. The cats are very friendly and will let you pet them and sometimes they will lounge on your lap. Outside there are many more cats but they are not as friendly as the ones that come inside the lobby. We Loved it and thought it was the best thing ever. If you are allergic to cats probably this isn’t the best place for you.
