What Guests Say About Their Stay

James

The hotel is beautiful and charming— very ideal for for couples (man & woman— without children along for the ride). The garden and the view from it are spectacular. The breakfast in the garden was a highlight of the trip to Siena. The only downside is the rooms are small and not ideal for a family traveling with a kid. I will definitely say here next time when I travel without kids.

Old historic building, beautiful garden terrace for an evening drink as you watch the sun go down. Staff very helpful. Our room was small, we should have upgraded as there are better rooms. Pay attention to the directions they send you as it's impossible not to get fined if you come any other way.

This is a fabulous place to stay! The location is a hike from the train station if you walk to the hotel, but the it is a good orientation to the major sites. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed with two comfortable lounging chairs and a comfortable bed. The hotel, recently renovated, is furnished with antiques. There is a library, several comfortable lounging areas, a bar, and a dining area for breakfast (one of the best we have had). The outstanding feature is the garden terrace that overlooks a treed valley and the distant hills. Very highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a nice spacious clean room, and the hotel was beautiful, especially the outside gardens. We really enjoyed taking an afternoon break and sitting out there for a bit, enjoying the beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. The breakfast was really good with several options, and the coffee service was exceptional. The only downside was the bed was rather hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult for my wife to sleep. We would definitely consider staying here again!

This was an incredible stay! Our room was stunning with star vaulted ceiling overlooking the garden. The garden was beautiful with breathtaking views of the hills around Siena. There was a bar to have a drinks in the garden and made a relaxing afternoon after sightseeing. The morning breakfast had so many options and it was quite wonderful. We drove and there was parking on the premise, which the staff guides you perfectly with directions. The staff was delightful and helpful and friendly. The location was excellent and in close proximity to the major attractions and dining. I would stay here again and highly recommend friends and family to stay here.
