The hotel was pretty good. A little older, but nothing to worry about. VERY CENTRAL--couldn't ask for a better location. Minutes from Sendai station in the centre of maybe the biggest shotengai I've ever seen. Dozens of restaurants & cafes right at the doorstep. Reception is on the second floor--no lift so you have to carry your bags up about a dozen stairs--be aware if you have heavy bags! Good Japanese breakfast with some western options. Friendly, helpful staff. Everything you want/need for a short stay.

I loved everything about this property and it's location. It was extremely affordable and competitive with prices. The fact that it is located about a 7 to 10 minute walk from the Sendai station, depending on your physical fitness level was amazing! It's also located on the main strip which is covered, so no worries dealing with rain or harsh sunlight while walking to the hotel, except for when crossing the street. Overall, I would absolutely pick this spot to just rest my head and go back out to enjoy the local area.

Terrible. We booked 4 rooms for 8 people but the manager said they only had 2 rooms for us. How could we stay in 2 rooms with 8 pp?? We went up to see the rooms and found that they were unacceptable. We 've booked non smoking rooms but the rooms they gave us were full of unpleasant odour of cigarette smoke. The rooms were damp and smelly too. We couldn't breath in those rooms so we rejected to check in. The manager told us that if we didn't check in we would be charged in full for 2 rooms and he was running back and forth ( We really didn't know what he was doing bcos he barely speak English ). We have spent almost 2 hours talking to him and at the end he agreed to give us 2 rooms at different hotel which was 500 metres away!! We are one family . How could he seperate us??? We had enough of this hotel and will not return.

My review comments are completely subjective as an American so all of my issues with the hotel are likely non-issues for the Japanese. Booked 3 nights stay with my boyfriend based on the location for spending New Year's weekend in Sendai. The location really is fantastic for shopping/eating/drinking/near Sendai Station and we were really happy with it from that aspect. It is a typical very small room (with a very hard bed) and with two people and our bags we were definitely tripping over each other and our stuff. Also, if you’re very tall be prepared to have to crouch down in the shower to be able to wash your hair. The Lobby is on the 2nd floor requiring you to walk up one flight of stairs so if you have lots of bags or issues with stairs then this may be a challenge. There was only one outlet in the room and not near the bed so one of our phone was always virtually dead which is disappointing. My biggest issue with the hotel was that they still use traditional keys instead of key cards so we were only issued one key that we had to leave at the reception desk every time we left the hotel. It’s inconvenient to not have a key for each person staying in the room or to have to wait in line to retrieve your room key (once for almost 10 minutes). Lastly, be very careful where you park in this area if you don’t understand the signs, the lot closest to the hotel does not have a maximum daily rate so your parking charges will add up very fast!t.

If you won’t be staying in your room other than to sleep during your stay then this is a good place to choose. The hotel itself is old and meant for business trip purposes. Would recommend Premimum Green Hill over this one.

Pros: It is in middle of the shopping center and it is not far from train station. Cons:They shared the elevator with the office in the first floor. So, every single time we wanted to use the elevator, we asked them to unlock it. We could use it then. It is not suitable for people who are not comfortable to walk up with the stairs. The room is kind of small, no space for the luggage. Staffs do not understand English at all. They were trying to communicate with us. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to communicate with them. They provide cool box, not fridge. So, it took soooooo long to get cool. It would be better to put food outside the window, colder than the cool box. Hair dryer was broken with the electricity leak.

The hotel fronts a covered pedestrian mall conveniently located within walking distance of Sendai station. This means that it is quiet and that facilities such as cafés, restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies etc are easily accessed. My room was basic but quite functional - typical business hotel. There is a restaurant at the hotel but I didn't use it so I can't rate it. If the hotel offered other facilities, I didn't notice them.

This hotel itself is very quiet, even though it is conveniently located in the middle of the central shopping street in Sendai, and a stone throw away from Aobadori Station and Sendai Station (10 minutes walk). Nice big rooms for a business hotel. No view worth mentioning. Good internet available. Unfortunately NO escalator or elevator to the reception!

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Typical Japanese Hotel - compact, clean and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is its location - located west of Sendai Station in a long shopping arcade full of shops and restaurants. Also close to Sendai Train Station, and the commerical / retail part of Sendai. Free wifi in your room and free coffee and water in the lobby is a nice touch. TIP 1. It may be difficult to find this hotel - access is via a shopping arcade called Clis Road. TIP 2. As soon as you get in your room turn the mini-fridge on as it takes a while to get cold. TIP 3. Entrance to lobby is via the second floor - you'll need to climb the stairs from the ground to the second floor. Enjoyed my stay and would use this hotel again.
