I've stayed here previously and really enjoy the helpfulness of the staff and eating the breakfast. The location is near Shin Osaka station, but also distant enough that it's quiet, especially in the Annex. As it exits the East side of the station, there is also an elevator exit, which helps for heavy luggage and disability. The rooms are also quite spacious for the price, so it's easy to reorganize luggage and spread out during longer trips. That said, the beds/pillows aren't the most comfortable in comparison to other hotels.

Fantastic location close to Shin-Osaka station, only about 4 minutes away. Hotel room was great, clean, large enough for one person and had everything needed. TV was a little small but I didn't spend much time indoors so wasn't fussed. The toiletries are available in the lobby (toothbrush, razor etc) which seems to be the case in Japanese hotels.

We sleep on firm mattress in USA, after 12 days in Japan I thought I knew what the firm spectrum was...sadly this hotels beds are so hard you are sore both nights from bed and pillow. Yikes is it impossible to enjoy this much pain from a bed. Pretty hotel lobby, room is spacious. If you like rigid sleeping situations, this place will knock your socks off. Sad because rest of the location is good and quiet despite nearby shin-Osaka station with planes overhead, can't hear that but the beds...

The hotel is nestled behind the Live Maxx hotel and has 3 separate buildings: The Classico (where guests check in), Treno and Fiore. We were in the Fiore building and our larger room which paid for with twin beds, was simply wonderful. A minimalistic design, but clean, elegant and provided the comfort you need to rest after a long day of sightseeing & touring around Osaka! Their daily breakfast which comes with the hotel booking was also excellent! No need to go out to fend for food early in the morning! The staff too, from the front desk (always so polite!) to the staff at morning breakfast were always so respectful and polite! How can you not love coming to Japan? We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and enjoyed Osaka even more so! Oh, and this hotel is very walkable, around 4-5 mins from the Shin-Osaka station. Remember to take the East exit as this station is big. There is a small elevator that you can use especially with luggage. Once on the street level, cross the street and go left until you see the Live Maxx hotel, and the Shin Osaka Station Hotel is right beyond it. We will definitely stay here again should we find our way back to Osaka!

We went to see the Expo25 and also were working in the evening. The room was spacious although. It would have been nice to have had a second chair in the room as there were essentially 2 desks. The staff were excellent and very helpful and kind.

In summary, this hotel was better than what I could have ever expected in Japan. Very nice staff. Spacious rooms. Close to train station. Very clean. Affordable laundry services. I would definitely recommend this place.

Shin-Osaka Station Hotel was very clean, breakfast was delicious, and was within walking distance to the main train station which helped for our side trips to Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, Himeji, and Hiroshima!
