Very cosy hotel located near to Sapporo station and close to many attractions.

Around the corner, less than 150m away, the hotel was easily accessible via the underground walkway straight to Sapporo Station. This made our winter stay so convenient and easy despite the snowy and icy sidewalks. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were impressed by the modern aesthetics and spacious lobby. The staff were articulate, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and very professional. It was a breeze leaving our luggage prior to check in and after check out. Our room was large and so well thought out. As a couple, we loved the separate toilet and shower/vanity area. The sliding doors separating each were both a functional and aesthetic feature of the room. The bed and pillows were comfy and the amenities just right. Towels were changed daily! The best part of our stay - the extensive breakfast with Hokkaido indulgences. Loved the breads, the specialty white french toast, the daily opportunity to eat Kaisendon, what a treat! Some improvements could be made on the done-ness of the bacon and scrambled eggs though - they were on the soft side but it's a matter of preference. The Red Brick building was just across so the view at breakfast was quite scenic. Will definitely recommend and should we return to Sapporo, Solaria will be our top choice!

Breakfast was special thanks to the local produce. I particularly enjoy the traditional fish soup. Had to repeat it! The hotel counts with bath facilities that are of high standards and are a must to try them.

Room tired and scuffed with battered furniture and marks on walls. Requested quiet room but was offered room next to lift. Eventually given room with no window, just glazed panel. Unhelpful check in staff. Endless notices telling you not to steal from room and instructions everywhere you looked on how to queue for breakfast which was a depressing experience. Very crowded, filthy coffee and stale, icy bread.

The room was spotless, but tight space. Cleaning occurs every other day, but they did supply fresh towels daily. Folks at the registration counter were helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious, but I stayed there for four days so by the third day it was time to move on to other places. Convenient location, with underground passage entry a block away, which takes you within minutes to Sapporo Station and Susukino.

Sashimi offer at a buffet breakfast is untypical - salmon eggs and salmon sashimi are both fresh and generously offered. Facilities - public bath and fitness room is not the best one could expect from a hotel in Hokkaido, but this does not hurt the overall experience. Very convenient commute for the Sapporo station for trains and buses, Odori and Susukino for shopping.

The hotel's location is highly advantageous, offering convenient access to both train and bus services. Furthermore, it is within walking distance of prominent landmarks such as the Sapporo TV Tower and various day tour pick-up points. The establishment consistently maintains a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and the front desk staff are consistently professional and accommodating.
