The place was neat and the reception really good.
Breakfast is not bad. It's really close to the JR Station so if you come from the airport and you're tired it is very convenient. There is a 7 eleven and a Lawson at walking distance of you need to eat/drink.
We rented bicycles not far from the hotel. The city is a nice place for bicycles. Kimiidera is a good spot, you can also go to the sea and other small temples. The castle is brand new so if you like old monuments it is not very interesting but the garden around it is a cool place to relax.

Nice staff, small but tidy room. Dark ambience. Simple breakfast in Japanese style. Nice coffee. Just without hot spring facility if that’s important for you. Wifi is a bit slow at times.

The stay results very convenient due to locations of hotel very near of local train station, hotel’s personnel was also very kindly and helpful which do the our stay more enjoyable, breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast which is good but not too much assorted.

Our encounter with reception staff were not pleasant, they were cold and not approachable. However breakfast station staff were very polite and efficient. It is a pity that this is not a smoke free building so you have to endure the smoke smell that lingers in lobby and elevator.
