I wouldn't recommend staying here. There were rude guests who took turns banging their fists through the walls! The staff don't speak english & as an international traveller you can only rely on an online translator. On cleaning my room: they'd make the bed, mop the floor, new towels etc, but after 7 nights, they hadn't changed my bedsheets. I had to throw the bedsheet on the floor so they'd understand to change the bedsheets, & not just simply make the bed. I booked for 8 days approx, & the funny thing was; other guests who'd book for only a night or 2, had Cleaner beds than me having booked for 8 days. They offered no assistance in trying to help me get an electric bike, as I cannot drive & have no licence due to a hidden disability, but I can use an electric bike and moped. Instead I used taxis, & hitch hiked as there is no public transport here. I would avoid this hotel, disappointed, certainly not a happy hotel. On arriving in the taxi, & even booking the taxi at the airport was a nightmare. They couldn't find it, & had to phone the hotel as their name on Google maps is different & doesn't match happy hotel. Even with local taxis, I had to give the name of the homestay up the road, as no one at all understood where this hotel was with its Chinese name, in Laos. No name in English at all. No sign on the building nor online saying it's the happy hotel. A bad experience for an international travellr In Laos, it felt strange that the whole place was owned by 'china'.
