Absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel is very conveniently located at the edge of the Ville Haute overlooking Parc de la Petrusse. It's a short walk or bus ride from train station. The staff is super helpful and are overall very lovely people. Breakfast is filling and delicious. Highly recommend.

The hotel was very nicely located. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor restaurants on the Place Guillaume Ii and the Place d'Armes. Even thought the lobby was ungoing upgrading, we felt that we were in a very nice hotel. The room was gorgeous! The breakfast was copious. This hotel was near everything. I recommend it.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and polite. The concierges were all excellent. I cannot fault the breakfast, there was plenty of everything and a vast selection of quality produce. Except for one small thing - tea. This is the first hotel I've stayed at where the teabags are kept locked in a wooden box under the counter. It felt as if the person asking for tea was going to steal the tea bags. Very, very odd. Nonetheless, breakfast gets a thumbs-up. Now we come to the condition of the hotel. Not so good. It is an old hotel and it has the oldest working elevator in Luxembourg, apparently. The elevator is nice. However, it must be said that the fabric of the hotel is tired and needs some refurbishment. The bathroom was decorated with tiles that looked like they came from some awful 1970's hotel. Yellow with random picture tiles scattered around. The shower is over the bath with a somewhat grimy plastic shower curtain. Not a good look. I could mention the chipped paintwork and the weird headboard behind the bed that wasn't fixed to anything and moved alarmingly when leaned against. A word of warning to the light sleepers - the hotel is located on a busy main road and the traffic can be noisy early in the morning. The location is actually perfect for those who want to get around the old city. Everything you need is close by. Restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries, churches and beautiful parks are all within a few minutes stroll. However, I would stay here again.

A historical hotel with older amenities that are well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. Breakfast is quite good and is in a charming room. Good location. My only complaint is the limited strength of the hairdryer - if you need to shower and get out quickly in the morning, just factor extra time to dry your hair.

Amazing breakfast buffet, staff was helpful and courteous, and the location can't be beat. While some of the amenities are dated they are in excellent condition and nothing is lacking. The bathtub was perfect for a long soak and I wish I'd had time to enjoy the common areas. The entire place is a throwback to a more elegant and graceful era- staying there felt like being an ambassador from the 1960s, not the road weary backpacker I was.

Great location, great breakfast, classic styling. We were there during colder temperatures but I don't think I saw AC in the room. Check that if you're traveling in warmer weather.

Hotel still has a lot of 1930s charm internally from the lift to the main staircase. Breakfast was plentiful and coffee was excellent. Credit to your staff all excellent.

Lovely old style hotel with lots of character. There was a good hot and cold selection at breakfast, where the staff were particularly attentive and we enjoyed the service in the classic bar area.
