Staff is very friendly snd courteous and location is great.

The owner was very friendly, breakfast was good, Location is perfect! It was a great stay, would recommend!

A double bed is 2 beds joined together, one bed the springs gone, very uncomfortable. The toilet flushed continuously we did tell the manager nothing was done, sound was very annoying at night since headboard on same wall as bathroom. Cleaning was poor or non existent just depended on whether they felt like cleaning our bedsheets not changed for 7 nights had to ask for toilet paper this was not replaced. I would have gone elsewhere but had a non cancelable room , definately not 3 stars 1 star worst i have stayed in breakfast was substandard.we payed £588 for 7 nights

The bathroom was very small and only had a very poor shower.

Staff was wonderful, room clean and close to amenities A no frills, but pleasant place to stay

bathroom only cleaned all 2 days, fresh towels twice, room never completely cleaned, matresses old and worn out, good location, if the hotel was not surrounded by construction sites, reception staff try to help, but do not know even the basic informations, breakfast is a joke

very close to busy bars and restaurants but room was pretty quiet. Decor very outdated and bland but clean, so can't complain. staff friendly and 24 hr check in was handy as I rolled in at about 3am.

The hotel itself is great, the room very comfortable, breakfast sumptuous. However, don't count on getting picked up from the airport (I was not) and taxidriver had a hard time finding it.

It's an old small hotel, freeze old small rooms, bad bofet breakfast, the only good thing is the location, I paid 136 Euro for a 3 night stay, a lot of my friends told me that I could had a better hotel for a lower price

Good value for money, excellent location, good bus routes to cover the island. Hotel staff very helpful and a nice breakfast each morning. Only issue was the creaking bed.

Comfortable large room in convenient location close to restaurants, cafes, nightlife, beaches and public transport to explore other areas on the island. Neighbourhood is a little noisy at night due to some local bars popular with students. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the roof-top pool was closed/drained but I believe this is common outside the peak summer period. WIFI was free but unreliable at times. We really enjoyed our stay here. Absolutely loved Malta and would happily stay here again.

We stayed two weeks at the Allegro and found it to be an excellent location to tour Malta. The hotel is undergoing renovations to upgrade rooms and reception area but the activity did not effect our stay. Our room, 305 had a new bathroom and fresh décor. The bed was comfortable. Our only request is that padding be placed under furniture. It seems many people have early flights and the sound of furniture scraping on the tile floor in the middle of the night was very loud and disruptive. The roof top deck and pool where not yet open for the season so we can not comment on that area. The breakfast room was bright and served choices of meats, cheeses, breads, cereal and yogurt, as well as apples and oranges. The coffee machine offered several beverage choices but if you enjoy your coffee perhaps waiting until you find a local café would suit you better for flavour. The staff at the Allegro were welcoming and helpful, which always adds great value to a stay at a hotel. It's location just off the main street allows for a comfortable and quitter stay than the active restaurant and bar areas nearby.

arrived here, checked in to a dingy poor condition room, with tiny insects in the beds. staff were understanding, very supportive when we showed them, moved us to a hugely better room on the same night and continued to offer friendly and helpful service throughout the stay. was very grateful for the good staff, but the first room was really bad. 1/5 second room was clean, well lit, modern, absolute fine, and good for the price. 5/5 Final score 3/5 The hotel appears to be in the process of renovating the rooms. Hopefully this will cover all rooms and there will be no bad ones remaining.

Good location, clean rooms, nice breakfast.

Hotel and our room was attractive, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Numerous places for food and drink were nearby, location was in an area for partying, but noise did not disturb us. The bus stop was within a short walk with many buses available making it convenient to visit other areas. Breakfast was included, and a rooftop pool was available.

It’s a reasonable accommodation, close to transport, nightlife and excellent food.

Hotel discreto, un po datato, nella media. Il personale è stato super gentile ad accogliere a qualsiasi richiesta.la pulizia dell hotel è buona e le stanze sono di medie dimensioni.
