The View Agadir

Overall, we had an OK stay, but there are several areas where the hotel could improve. The reception staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming. In contrast, the valet staff were outstanding. One gentleman in particular was always smiling, friendly, and went out of his way to help guests, making a real difference to our stay. Breakfast was inconsistent. The woman preparing the semolina bread was often rude and allowed other guests to push ahead of those waiting. Drink service was also frustrating, as guests could not serve themselves and often waited 10–15 minutes for coffee or other drinks, which frequently arrived after we had finished eating. The coffee itself was average. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom layout was poorly designed. The toilet was separate from the bathroom with no sink, meaning you had to leave the toilet to wash your hands. We also repeatedly bumped into a protruding coffee tray, which felt like an unnecessary safety hazard. Communication was difficult if you didn't speak French. Simple requests often had to be repeated several times, and calls to reception were sometimes disconnected. We were also incorrectly told that a travel adapter was on its way to our room, only to discover a day later that the hotel didn't provide them at all, wasting valuable holiday time. The swimming pool was colder than expected on most days, and the advertised beach access was misleading, as it simply led to the same public beach available to everyone.

This hotel was absolutely incredible my wife and I went to Agadir for a bit of relaxation Didn’t disappoint at all would highly recommend staying here

We recently stayed at The View Hotel Agadir & couldn't recommend it more! Some of our family flew out earlier in the week, while the rest of us arrived on Friday to surprise a family member celebrating their 70th birthday. The hotel knew about the surprise and went above & beyond to make sure we didn't bump into our family before the big reveal. They even had our rooms ready early so we could freshen up first. The staff were incredible—so warm, welcoming & genuinely kind. Even though we only stayed from Friday to Sunday, they took the time to get to know us & made us feel so at home. The hotel is beautiful, spotless & never felt overcrowded. There was always a great spot by the huge pool & the whole place has such a relaxing, luxurious atmosphere. A special thank you to the two amazing guys at the pool bar, both called Osama. They were outstanding and made such a lasting impression with their friendliness and exceptional service. They are a huge credit to the hotel! The food and drinks were fantastic & breakfast was a real highlight with so much choice. The Moroccan tea was absolutely delicious! Our room was spacious, modern & immaculate. Thank you to everyone at The View for making our family celebration so special. We made memories we'll never forget & would return in a heartbeat! Couldn't recommend this hotel enough, we were so sad to leave!

Amazing

We stayed in this hotel last year and it was excellent. That is why we went again this year. It soon became apparent that the breakfast service did not meet that of last year. Several times having to ask more than once for coffee tea etc, and we were not the only ones to notice this. Perhaps a shortage of staff or inexperienced staff? Still an excellent location, with many staff outstanding. The beachside cafe across the road was very nice, but totally spoiled by loud music throughout. However still hope to come again next year.

I found the hotel to be very welcoming this was my second visit and I must say what makes this hotel is the staff, special shout out to Mehdi, Ismail, Ayoube, Aymane and Abderahim always had a smile on their faces and as a solo traveller always open to chat. The reason I gave 4* instead of 5 is I don't feel the rooms are of 5* quality. My room was always spotless just like the rest of the hotel. Paul

The food is same every day, the manager was angry when we arrived, partially see view means barely sea view, but the suites all good see view. I believe the hotel over rated

Not 5 star given that 1) Our douple-room was comfortable & clean but there was one mug & one glass & one tea-cup. The room lights were inflexible (either on for whole room or off, & no subtle bathroom lighting), twice were returned to no hand towels, we had t-bags & uht milk for only the first day, there was noise from outside until 8pm, there were no prices on the menus for Restaurants, the shower leaked onto the floor, the toilet brush was broken, & there were few hangers; 2) the Pool was nice & there were both a range of & enough sun-bed, but when we ordered a drink it took 30 mins & coke was served as a can with a straw (no glass), and towels weren't available when the pool opened at 9am, 3) Breakfast was nice & staff friendly, but twice tea was served with one teabag in a teapot for two people, tables didn't has a teaspoon, & tea was sometimes served not hot; 4) the Concierge was friendly but re a trip we booked through them, we were given no written details & no transparency about the price, the trip arrived late to collect us, & the trip we got was different from the one we were told (eg were were told we'd gt a meal & we didn't)

I very rarely leave a review for a property, however in this case The View in Agadir deserve one. Their service is exceptional even for a 5*. This is the second time we have stayed here and it won’t be the last. Excellent dining, great mock/cocktails. Fantastic staff. Can’t wait to come back.
