Lack of privacy due to window that doesn’t close all the way + noise + cockroach

Basic Hotel.Staff were very helpful & pleasant to me. Very central. I would be reluctant to eat street food in view of the number of rats i saw in the area.

You get what you paid for. Location is great! Staffs are wonderful. Breakfast is ok. 3 menus plus 2 kids of fruits usually banana and watermelon. Overall this is a wonderful 2*hotel with a fantastic location!

Great location for a reasonable price. Breakfast is good with very good coffee. Room is very small and the wifi connection is poor. We wanted to check out at 14 instead of 12, and they said they charge half a day for it.

Good service and good location!

Better to get a separate room if there's three of yourselves as it's cheaper than to top up and share a room with larger space. Staff makes huge effort to follow procedures and give clear directions. English was decent and understandable. Doorman was very attentive to guests. Room door lock quality was telling as it was a little filmsy. Still safe, but u could open the door from inside even when locked (not supposed to). Main grief was the water pressure. Not exactly a drip but it was hard to shower with the weak flow. Good location to nearby market and shopping malls. Do check out the foot massage just a few shops down. The immediate exterior environment might look glum but we felt safe walking to the main road. Overall decent. Not for fussy travellers. Breakfast will be fine. Noodles, bread, fruits, coffee machine.

Great location to see most of the sights such as market and old town. On a crowded one way street off the main street.

This hotel is in a great location. It is within short walking distance to great markets and restaurants. Sule Pagoda is also only a few minutes walk away.

Highly recommended for a brief stay in Yangon. The location is excellent and the hotel and actual room are simple and not luxurious, but clean and very comfortable. Ideal for a good rest between bouts of exploring the city and for a good night's sleep at the end of the day. Not a place for enjoying facilities (no pool or other features) but if you don't have unlimited budget and prefer to spend money on other things, forget the Shangri-La next door and enjoy more of the real Myanmar and its people, which will give you memories for a life time.
