A very traditional old-Africa style hotel with thatched roof. Perfect location for walking along the sea front, watching wildlife, or going into town. The service was excellent. They helped me to park my motorcycle safely. One evening the restaurant was a bit busy so they brought food to my room. Swimming pool is nice.

Parking out the front of the hotel so easy access. It looks out to the water and boardwalk. Short drive to town Staff were a mix, lady on reception pushy on trips and booking with her. We had no intention. Bar staff lovely and attentive The room we had #1 was right at the front, so you could hear all the news from the bar, road and generally noisy and not very private. Book a standard room if you are staying, not worth the extra money.

Staff were really nice and accommodating. When I wanted to switch rooms, it was no problem. Really appreciated that they were ok in me doing so. They also put a mini fridge in my room when I asked, but unfortunately I never did get a key to the safe. The rooms are bit ‘tired’ and could do with a refresh. But they were clean. Location is directly across from the lagoon, which was beautiful and full of flamingos. Overall a pleasant stay.

The Iris boutique hotel is across the street from lagoon, making it a convenient location to walk along the water. You can also walk to restaurants in about 30 minutes. We spent one night and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Our dinner was slow due to the understaffed kitchen, but the food was fine once it came. The restaurant also has a nice view of the sunset in the water.
