Staff were absolutely lovely, the room was very good in size and decently clean. The hotel is modest, so fixtures aren’t latest and greatest, but I was very comfortable staying there for 4 nights. The continental breakfast was delicious and totally worth it to start our excursion days fully energised. Would recommend!

Absolutely amazing hotel excellent value for money spotlessly clean and super friendly staff. Lucy from main reception was fantastic from check in to check out she is a huge asset to the team very helpful. The hotel location is very good close.to all restaurants and main square. The rooms are cosy and clean very well heated. Breakfast was plenty of choice and again well stocked and always clean. I would reccomend Skansen hotel 100% and would stay again.

Room was great for a solo traveller. Single bed was comfortable and the room was heated well. The bathroom was huge and shower was great. One morning I had no hot water but staff helped and sorted it. Location was excellent! Right at the end of the Main Street with a 5 minute walk to most things. Plenty of food and bar options around the area. While the price during the time I was there was far too much for what it was - compared to the rest of the area it was decent.

In a quiet location in the centre. We had a lovely spacious studio room on floor 3 with a sitting room and separate bedroom. Apart from the air- conditioning being a bit too intrusive, we loved the room. We loved the view across the fjord to the Arctic Cathedral. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but the breakfast room is a bit crowded if you don't go in early. The outside of the hotel isn't very smart- looking but inside the lobby has a nice sitting area with coffee and cookies. We would definitely stay there again if we could book room 312!

We were very comfortable at Enter Skansen. The hotel feels new, the room was spacious and the buffet breakfast was filling. The location is a short walk to the central attractions. Paid parking is available nearby. The only negative comment I could make is the noise of the winter car tyres managed to penetrate the double glazed windows, so we heard every car drive by.

I came on a solo trip to take part in the PolarNight Half Marathon, so my single room served the purpose. Perhaps consider putting a cupboard in the bathroom area where there is space for it. Apart from that, the staff are very friendly, it was clean, and the breakfast was very good.

Good location just out of the centre. Easy bus links to airport. Room was simple but didnt want for anything....couldn't get tv to work but that wasnt important. Breqkfast would benefit from hot food bit its advertised as continental so cant conplain. Staff were very friendly ans helpful. I reported shower had a leak and receptionist took a bote to sort. Would recommend and stay again

Wij verbleven in juni 2026 twee nachten in dit hotel. De locatie van het hotel is prima; je loopt zo het centrum van Tromsø in. Daarmee is het positieve ook wel gezegd. Wij kozen dit hotel omdat aangegeven stond dat er een parkeergelegenheid was bij het hotel. Om niets aan het toeval over te laten, namen wij vooraf contact op met het hotel. Het hotel bevestigde ons per e-mail de aanwezigheid van een parkeergelegenheid en bevestigde ons dat zij een parkeerplaats voor ons hadden gereserveerd. Bij aankomst bleek dat er door een verbouwing geen parkeergelegenheid was. Wij werden verwezen naar een te krappe parkeergarage bij een zusterhotel op 10 minuten loopafstand. We konden ook betaald langs de weg parkeren. Als we dit van tevoren hadden geweten, dan hadden wij voor een ander hotel gekozen. De receptionist, die erg vriendelijk was, erkende dat een en ander beter gecommuniceerd had kunnen worden. Daar bleef het echter bij. Bij het inchecken was het sleutelsysteem kapot, waardoor de deur met een sleutel geopend moest worden en wij later pas de kamersleutel kregen. Het aangeboden ontbijtbuffet was beperkt en weinig vers. Hiervan hebben we dan ook maar één van de twee dagen. Al met al een weinig aansprekend verblijf in een mooie stad.

Hele hotellet var rent, ryddig og med en behagelig luft selv om den nært sentrum. Vi kom tidlig og skulle bare sette fra oss bagasjen, men siden rommet var klart kunne vi sjekke inn. Deilig å kunne slappe av litt før møtet med byen. Fra personalet side møtte vi bare positiv respons på våre ønsker. Vi kommer absolutt tilbake. Takk for et godt opphold.

Lite, men rent og oppusset rom og bad. Hyggelig betjening. Lite plass i rommet vi spiste frokost, og vi måtte innimellom vente før det ble fylt på med mer mat når det var tomt. Maten var til gjengjeld enkel men god, savnet annet brød da det eneste alternativet til brød var superbrød. Det står at det er parkering, og det betyr i dette tilfellet at vi måtte parkere i en parkeringskjeller under et annet hotell 10 min gange fra hotellet. Det var ekstremt trangt å komme ned/opp fra parkeringskjelleren, noe jeg mener bør komme mye tydeligere frem under hotellets info om parkering.
