Beautiful older traditional looking hotel with charming and quiet rooms. Hotel is close to train station and main walking street with shops and restaurants nearby. We took a bus from the station to get to Hafjell to ski. Very reasonably priced and convenient. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a great stay!

Wonderful family room, with comfy bed, clean towels and linens, heated bathroom floor, and small welcome gifts (chocolate, playing cards). The breakfast was good, with traditional Norwegian smorgasbord: several kinds of eggs, pastries, waffler, quality bread, fruit and yogurt, herring and both continental cheese and brunost. Tusen takk!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with lots of charm. Nice central location close to the pedestrian walk ways. I was super excited about the breakfasts when I booked but was slightly disappointed (waffles only one day and two days there were no "hot" options earlier in the morning). Overall a fantastic stay.

Property was under construction during our stay. Didn't really affect us much. We had to walk down the street for our breakfast. The breakfast was AMAZING!! So many gluten free and vegan options. Missing the waffles already. The staff were super friendly.
