Second time that I stayed here, on a hill, Sami cultural items present and aesthetically pleasing, laavu and reindeer outside. Breakfast buffet was nice.

I was visiting Nordkapp (the purported northern tip of Europe) around the time of the summer solstice, intending to follow the sun around the sky for 24 hours. I wanted a motel room to rest up and sleep afterward. That time of year is quite popular; everything nearby was fully booked and even those at a slight remove had high rates. This hotel was the nearest I found that my budget could handle. The hotel itself is quite nice (though I was too tired to avail myself of all the amenities) and the restaurant has a good reputation. Dinner service is short and reservations are mandatory, so I missed that, but the free breakfast buffet was excellent, with many local dishes to sample. My room was clean and comfortable, and the free internet connection was good.

Very very small room, uncomfortable for two guests. Loud partying going on right infront of our window for several hours in the night. Breakfast starts too late for travelling guests. Bar area very unclean.

Hotel was not busy upon our check-in. Was given a room with a wonderful view of the snow machine storage area and parking lot. Enjoyed a nice meal at the restaurant - paid at table with credit card. Upon check-out, we were surprised to ask to pay for someone else's meal who (probably mistakenly) used our room number to pay for meal. Didn't need that hassle or embarrassment. Realizing this is the only hotel for miles, the rate was still pretty high. Live and learn.
