Asian Belgian Resort

The stay at this resort was very comfortable. The setting is right on the water , with amazing views. The staff and manager, Steve, are super friendly and accommodating. You can use kayaks or take a diving tour with them. The accommodations are clean and the air conditioning work well. The best thing about this location is the setting. I would highly recommend this place.

Positives: - Great views of the sea - Close to White beach - Free kayaks - Friendly staff Negatives: - Very secluded. Far away from Panagsama beach (where most of the restaurants and bars are located) have to pay 150 pesos each way. - Room was very dated and quite dirty. - Toilet smelled of sewage for our entire stay - Make sure to organise your own transport arrangements to and from the resort. They take commision for ordering a driver for you and do not negotiate the price of the journey. Therefore, you end up paying extortionate prices for your travel. As we were guests at the hotel, we thought that the staff would look out for our best interests in this matter. Unfortunately, this was not the case and we felt like we were ripped off by them. In summation, you can get better hotels for the price of this one.

when i got there my room was not available i had to wait for long time i got room it is different than the pics and i found cockroaches in it

everything was perfect, very friendly staff. Very good diving facilities.

Nothing really amazing if u don't want to go for diving. And I didn't get to see dolphins which was my initial planning instead my partner and i went diving for sardine runs. Amazing but just 2 dives are enough. Rest of the time just chill

Our second time in this area and the location of the hotel is great. Sadly that is the only good point for us. The staff hardly spoke to us, even on leaving, not a work of thanks, simply not interested. The room smelt bad on arrival, we think it was due to a bad smell from the sofa, so we avoided sitting there. the tiny bathroom was the worst...a broken shower door made it hard to get in and out of the shower, the toilet either didn't flush or dripped water (all night), the sink was so small we could hardly wash out our swimwear. There were many ants in the room and the gaps under the door and window slats let in more! the old air conditioner was noisy and we couldn't reduce the strength so it was all or nothing. Overall, it lacked maintenance and the staff just weren't trained in dealing with guests, which showed in the lack of attendance at the New Year dinner. What a shame as it could be a really nice place.

Our stay at the Asian Belgian Resort was a good one, we arrived at around 10:30am and were able to check in right away. The room was nice but kind of basic, there was a large puddle of water in the bathroom as soon as we went in that never really went away during the entire stay. The view of the ocean was really nice and there was lots of places to lay down and relax such as a sun lounger or hammock. They had a pool table and a nice water cooler where you could get chilled water any time of the day. The food was really good, we ordered the fried chicken and buttered pork for dinner and the filipino breakfast. They did seem to really push for no outside drinks or food as its posted everywhere, and house keeping is only on request. I think its a nice place to stay for maybe one day, but I dont think I would recommend for longer then that.

quiet but pleasant small resort overlooking the sea.Food was good and reasonably priced.White Beach is close but little else locally to do except scuba diving. Ni swimming pool or usable beach on the premise.

Very quiet getaway diving resort! Friendly staff and professional dive masters. For divers, you cannot afford to miss sardin ball - definitely amazing. It would be great if the restaurant can offer more choices of jam - only mango jam now! :)

We were also able to hire there moped to ride to Oslob to swim with the whale sharks and visit the waterfalls. We used the resorts kayaks at no cost which was good fun.

The staff was very helpful.

The path to the hotel was rather long and inconvenient, however, the warm welcome of the owner, fantastic view of the beach and hotel garden, room conditions and facilities gave us a pleasant impression of this place.

Very nice place to stay especially if you are interested in diving , friendly staff and good food.

We stayed at Asian Belgian Resort Feb17-20 2014 for diving and relaxing. POSITIVE FEEDBACK: Small and private. COzy place. Kind Filipina female helpers. NEGATIVES: no sandy beach shore. VERY BAD SHORE full of rocks. NO POOLS. Nothing to do for the space of the resort is too small. The WORST DIVING EXPERIENCE with the Dive Master/owner Ronald. He was unkind to us. He shouted and scolded me because of my first dived as I got really nervous and so he was pulling me like a real beginner in diving underwater and that made me more nervous (I'm and ADVANCED) As we resurfaced he scolded me and doubt me if I am really licensed or not (just because I am a filipina !) he was also a liar telling us it is not possible to dive in PESCADOR ISLAND because of the strong current but for 1week and 3 days after choosing nearby dive shop we dived in Pescador everyday! and no strong current at all! He criticized me because I am a filipina and he is not used to that. He is an arrogant person and he didnt make his me feel comfortable underwater. WE WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS RESORT AGAIN. There are many better resorts around and I highly reccommend club serena or moalboal beach resort.

The reef close to the hotel was amazing. Both hard and soft corals if you swim out a bit. And we saw a lot of turtles too. The staff was very friendly. The toilet didn’t smell very nice. Maybe mold? Really bad smell. Very weird lights in the room, not very cozy. And the food isn’t that great.

Приятный дайверский отель семейного типа. Всё тихо, спокойно, размеренно. Среди отдыхающих играют хозяйские дети, общий покой охраняет добродушный ротвейлер Жаклин. Низкие цены на дайвинг, но завышенные - на питание.

のんびり過ごしたい大人向けの民宿の様なホテル。目の前が海だが、ホワイトビーチのいわゆるビーチまでは海沿いを少し歩くか、レンタルバイク400pesoで移動が便利。バイクがあればレストランの多いパナグサマビーチ、なんでも売ってるガイサノモールにもすぐに行ける。

Séjour très agréable avec un club de plongée sur place. Personnel très serviable.

Is een leuk resort met hele leuke aardige mensen. Mooi uit zicht over de zee!
