Very unique place with a lot of character and cool features! We loved the bowling/pool/bar basement, the aesthetic, the sauna suite, etc. Only downsides are the road noise/view and sparkling wine for our room couldn't be chilled.

Nice place with a few strange wall pictures of ghoulish people. Very clever but a little spooky so may not be to everyones taste. Food nice and bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Bowling also available in basement.

We stayed at Hotel Kasztel because we were approaching Krakow from the east and it looked rather unique. The decor is definitely original! Everything was new, clean, and comfortable. The staff was helpful and served a great buffet breakfast. Only regret was that the drive into Krakow took longer than we had expected.

This hotel and its staff were excellent. The food is definately 5* and cheaply priced. The hotel can arrange a massage for you at only £22 for one hour.... this is the best massage I have had to date. Would definately recommend staying here.... only problem is the hotel is a bit far out so a car is needed but it would be worth getting one as you will save the price of car rental on the cheap prices at the hotel.

The castle-like architecture is complemented by elaborate interior decoration. The staff are young and very friendly. Breakfast is a large assortment of meats, cheese and bread while dinners are delicious and reasonably priced with large portions. A well marked map is recommended since its not an easy route from the A4. There's a two lane bowling alley in the basement.

Jaroslav and his family and staff were most generous with their time, and helped us solve solutions to transportation to venues we wished to visit. The food was excellent and prices were great. There is good access to public transportation and if they could accommodate, they arranged other ways to get to different places. A great alternative to expensive chain hotels. We wish them success and recommend Chicago Poles to use his facilities when visiting "home".
