Exceeded expirations. Owner is beautiful, staff very helpful and customer oriented. On main hwy which is convenient but can be noisy. View is exceptional. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Susete Apartment fo 3 mihts on Pico Island. Basically a 1 bedroom with kitchen which was great for cooking and prepping food fo day trips. Miguel is an excellent host and easy to contact, apartment was clean and conveneont for day tripping around Pico. Thanks Miguel!

We were warmly welcomed by Miguel, the owner/manager of the place. We experienced a slight inconvenience with our room at arrival, but Miguel quickly offered us a solution, which was suitable and much appreciated. The view from the terrace was incredible! This is related to the town and not to the lodging, but for dining options, at the time of the year that we went (early June) there were not much choices. But overall, a good experience! :)

Serious ant problem

THe owner here was the best. After letting me check in several hours early, he was very knowledgeable about the island, and was generous with his bike and even gave me a ride. T|here is a beautiful view, and the room was very comfortable, if a little damp - which I suspect is the same for most of Pico. I had a very fun stay here and would really recommend

Unlike the others places we stayed at in the Azores, here things LOOKED good but seldom worked. The door to the bathroom didn't close, we couldn't lock the door to our room (!), the fan in the bathroom sounded like a small airplane was taking off (no windows). Although promised, there was no room service, and we actually had to spend a day without toilet paper. After two weeks on the islands it was the first time we saw a cockroach (in the room), and mosquitoes (also in the room). The owner is very friendly and helpful, although a bit intrusive for our north-European taste, and seems to live on premises and the communal area is also his own office, where he spends time watching tv and listening to music, sometimes at the same time. The views are nice, but the outdoor areas lack tables (there's only one). No air conditioning, as advertised, but not even a fan in the room made the nights hot and muggy. Next time we'll invest a bit more money in the hope to get something closer to a hotel room.

The host was waiting for us to check in. We didn't have much planned so he gave lots of advise and tried to help us book a few activities and sort car hire

The pictures are a little deceiving as some of the rooms have no windows and you need to use the door as a window. If the room faces the driveway, there’s not much privacy. Our room was closest to the main street so we had a bright light shining through the door also. Otherwise rooms are clean and relatively new. It’s far from the town so you need a car to get around.

Amazing sea view! It would be nice if there was a table, chairs, glasses, and more than two pillows. The owner is very nice and helpful and we liked the free parking! There is a noticeable gap in the bottom of the door which let in a big insect. Small tv that is far from the bed. Overall a fine place for a fair price.

Das erste Zimmer hat uns nicht ganz so gefallen und wir waren froh, dass wir es tauschen konnten, obwohl es ganz offensichtlich für den sehr netten Besitzer mit Mehraufwand verbunden war. Dafür nochmal herzlichen Dank.

Es war wundervoll! Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer. Ich glaube die Zimmer wurden vor nicht langer Zeit renoviert, jedenfalls sind sie in top Zustand, sowie Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind einwandfrei. Die Terrasse ist atemberaubend <3. Das ganze Team ist super lieb und hilfsbereit. Man kann sogar Wäsche abgeben. :) Würde jederzeit wieder in diese Unterkunft.

Beautiful accommodation with a friendly and relaxed landlord who takes care of his guests' needs. I really liked it there and can recommend the house.

Tappa di passaggio fra il volo e il traghetto per Sao Jorge. Struttura molto bella, le camere migliori quelle ai piani alti, con viste sul mare e sull'isola di Sao Jorge.
