No problem with the hotel, very efficient, helpful and friendly. We have discovered mountain-top villages are entirely unsuitable for our aged bodies - but it was a wonderful location and far more splendid than its near neighbour Ronda, which was the purpose of our trip

Stopped over whilst visiting the "white villages". Staff were welcoming (be warned, no English spoken) and rooms were spacious but our bedroom, and most of the public areas were dark and felt unwelcoming. Breakfast was more than adequate. In it's heyday, you can imagine this was a lovely place to stay but it now looks and feels very tired and dated.

The village of Zahara de las Sierras is picture-perfect. No wonder the country's tourist board uses photos of it to promote Andalucia & Spain! the hotel is very conveniently situated in the heart of the village which means all amenities are no more than 5 minutes walk away. Whilst not particularly luxurious, it is clean & well run and is a perfect base for the many activities in the area
