All excellent!

Was just what I was expecting!

The reception has very short hours, which makes it difficult to store your bag. Breakfast was great!

It was good overall. Calm and simple place with a back view over the garden. Nothing fancy. Felt like a Swedish home

Good location. Staff could not explain why I was unable to view some listed TV channels such as CNN and let it go at that.

It’s a hotel with minimum service and minimum of everything. It’s how I like it as well. It is in a very good location near train station and still have a very large room and lots of common area to use. For a size of around 30 rooms hotel with three large lounge area and in the center of the city. it is very unusual. However, there is not much of service or other facility if you are looking for a bit more luxury hotel this is not for you but if you are looking for a quite place with your own space for a short period to stay and a comfortable private room. This can be a good choice considering about the price and how big the space you can get. For the breakfast it’s simple not a lot of choice. Just typical Swedish breakfast.

Room was exactly as shown on the photograph, kitchens and homely common rooms to have tea and biscuits in. Breakfast room a bit small but you could use the common room to eat it in. Five minutes walk to the station in one direction, the same to the river in opposite direction.

Perfect location in centre of Uppsala. Kind staff. Recommended A+++.

If you book a hotel room with a private bathroom for sure you expect to get a shower in the morning and water to brush your teeth? That's what I did. On my arrival they have enabled an earlier check-in than expected as the reception is only available for a limited time during the day. After refreshing myself I went out to explore the city. Coming back at night there has been no water at the sink so I used the water of my bottle to brush my teeth. Next morning the water was back again, hurray! But still I did not even dare to make use of it. It has been a dark brownish and horribly smelling liquid pouring into the sink. No way to use this so called „water“ for a shower or a simple wash or brushing my teeth at all. Luckily I still had a waterbottle at hand. Reception is manned from 8 a.m. onward. With an appointement clearly before 8 a.m. I already had to leave before that time and no choice to speak to a receptionist. So I complained by mail and told them about my experience and the answer was that an unexpected burst of a pipe caused the problem. Another mail where I asked for a refund due to the fact that I have been unable to get what I payed for was just left unanswered. Hotel – an old building, elevator added, seems to be part of a hospital Communication and problem solving scills – more than obviously expandable Room – has been clean yet simple, small beds Bathroom – rather worn off, equipped for people with special needs No hairdryer, may be I should have asked

Stayed one night (sat/sun) during a major event in the city, did not see a soul at the hotel.

Nothing fancy, but a good clean room with a comfortable bed. The area is fairly quiet in the evenings and staff were friendly, when seen (although short reception hours) Breakfast is a little basic and the hours are shorter than many others, but the shared kitchen means you can easily work around that.

Enkelt hotell men rent och fräscht. Badrummet lite omodernt men rent. Återkommer gärna.

Paret som driver hotell var oerhört trevliga och välkomnande. Fin frukost med hemmalagad marmelad och granola.

Enkelt och hemtrevligt hotell som passar bra vid en kortare vistelse. Trevlig personal och god frukost.

Frukosten går väl att steppa upp.
