I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Léopold. The check in instructions were very clean and easy to follow. It is a charming hotel in an old building with matching decor. The room was clean, bed comfortable, quiet night. Coffee tea and fruits available on the salon and a hearty breakfast at the konditorei. I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to drive the next day.

A most charming hotel in a perfectly located Jugend-style building. Very helpful & friendly staff and a superb breakfast w home-made bread, soft/runny boiled eggs etc.
Also ask for a really good place to dine nearby (you get 10% as guest of Leopold)..

Marie and Ingvar are wonderful hosts, helped us with transportation issues and were very kind. Their hotel is “old world” charming, with good natural light to brighten up the cozy common areas. We especially enjoyed meeting other travelers during breakfast and at the end of the day having tea or coffee in the spacious sitting room. Close to restaurants and historic sites. Highly recommend.

Large rooms with big character right in the middle of the city, at a fantastic price. There are also large additional rooms for common use (though I was there alone almost all the time) which give the accommodation the feel of a large private home from two centuries ago. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Jag gillade boendet, det var mysigt och behagligt. Gillade inredningen och speciellt loungen där man kunde plocka kaffe, te och frukt gratis. Toaletten låter jättemycket när man spolar och varmvattnet tar ett tag att värma upp därför att det är ett gammalt hus med gamla rör, och det är väl enda nackdelen.
Det finns mycket ljud från gatan men de har lagt öronproppar på rummet så det löste problemet perfekt för mig, och jag är ljudkänslig. In- och utcheckning gör man själv, ingen receptionist på plats men man kan ha kontakt om man behöver. De förberedde en frukostpåse till mig eftersom jag meddelade att jag kanske inte skulle hunnit med mitt tåg annars. Rummet var stort och rymligt, det fanns ett slags burspråk vid fönstret med trevlig utsikt över centrum. Rekommenderar hotellet till 100%.

Veldig hyggelig hotell, med gammeldags stil. God atmosfære. Det er nok behov for oppussing, men fungerte greit. Lydisolasjonen mot lyd utenfra er ikke akkurat god. Ligger midt i gågaten, med alt man Trenger i umiddelbar nærhet 🌞

Jättemysigt sekelskiftshotell mitt på Östersunds gågata. Obemannad reception, men hör till hotellet på andra sidan gatan om man behöver hjälp med något. Mysig salong att sitta i där det finns dryck, kaka, frukt och även glas om man behöver
För resenärer med rullstol så hotels.com felaktigt angett att det är tillgänglighetsanpassat. Om man kan belasta på benen och har en manuell aktiv rullstol kan det fungera ändå. Hissen rymmer precis en normalstor aktiv stol, ytterdörren är tung men gick att få upp. Det finns högre trösklar från sekelskiftet i hotellet och rummet. Vårt hotellrum hade ett litet badrum där man behövde kunna förflytta sig till toalett stol genom att kunna stå eller ha med förflyttningspall. Rum och salong hade gått om utrymme för rullstol.
Frukost äts på konditoriet på andra sidan gatan, otroligt gott! Ett trappsteg finns in dit men de har en portabel ramp innanför dörren så det funkar med manuell rullstol.

Großes Zimmer, interessante Einrichtung. Kaffee, Getränke und kleine Snacks stehen rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung. Frühstück im Café nebenan war recht einfach und übersichtlich gehalten.
