Blue City Hotel was wonderful, above all because of the super-helpful staff. The hotel is new, the rooms very comfortable and modern. Although the location is a bit noisy near the train station (5 min walk), the soundproofing is superb, so it's no problem.
In every way, the managers and the staff have figured out how to make a hotel stay more pleasant, less complicated, and more enjoyable. They have flexible breakfast hours, were flexible about checkout time, and do 100 little things that makes the stay easy. The breakfast bar was extensive and tasty (but no plain oats).
And did I mention that the staff was incredibly helpful, forthcoming, uncomplicated and supportive?

The rooms are spacious, furnished in style, and even a bit romantic! Great vibe and friendly staff. Breakfast featured the usual continental selection, but the ingredients were clearly of high quality -- super-fresh fruit, nice cheeses and a delicious birchermuesli. My only minor complaint is the location at a fairly busy intersection. The double glazed windows do a good job, but I still had to run the fan to block out traffic noise at night.

A good hotel for business, convenient for the train and bus station and shops and restaurants.
The hotel restaurant is good - but the kitchen closes about an hour before the restaurant does so if you are arriving after 9 pm on Sunday evening be aware of this!

Parking was a witch, hotel only has 3 and the rest is pay parking per hour 24/7. No AC though the hotel had a fan in the room couldn't open the window cause of the train and bus traffic as I was on the outside of the building. Those on the quiet side (inside) probably could open the window.

There was plenty of room and very comfortable bed. It was very hot while I was staying and there is no air conditioning. A little noisy because of the proximity to the bus and train station, but then it is also very convenient for the same reasons! The daily breakfast was outstanding and the half price brunch on Sunday was great.
