Front desk staff was very courteous. Rooms were designed well and a sanctuary to return to. Appreciated details like the window in bathroom and dim beautiful lighting, etc). Nice amenities - hot water dispenser in room, coffee in lounge.

This is a great base for the more independent traveller. The rooms are large and clean with a kitchen area and a washing machine. The pool is great to do lengths. The staff are very friendly and responsive. This is slightly away from the MTR and the neighbourhood is ery typical with plenty of shops and great value restaurants. For a visitor who has just arrived a hotel may be an easier option but if you are slightly more adventurous I recommend Gloria Residence

Great place to stay, professional and courteous staff. This facility have a lounge area which you can relax.
Gloria Residence is in a great location, have plenty of good restaurants such as 好小子海鮮店 and 鮨洵 will satisfy any foodie.
Hotel supplied snacks and soft drinks are very thoughtful, full-size refrigerator with microwave, electric cook top and a sanitizing/drying machine for dishes are huge pluses.
The only drawback is that although my room was large enough, I did not have any good view. I learned that I need to reserve a different room to have a better view which I certainly will do when I plan to stay at the Gloria Residence in my next Taiwan trip.

Overall, I would stay here again if I am in Taipei.
Pro:
- Excellent service. The front counter speaks English and can effectively communicate.
- The hotel has at least 5 convenient stores in walking distance.
- Spacious
- Has a safe in the room
- Quiet
- Has a small balcony, with washer/dryer
- Kitchen, comes with microwave and fridge
- Has a mobile dehumidifier, this is very handy. We leave it at the shower area and dry our clothes.
Con:
- No gym
- Shower door can't block water completely, leaks pretty bad.
- Dryer sucks, but that's expected. Any combo washer/dryer just won't work when it comes to drying. You can hang your clothes at the balcony, just ask for the hangers.
- There is no direct line to the front desk from the phone in room...we asked the front desk, and even the font desk doesn't know. We suspect you can communicate through the telecom panel, hidden in the wall right next to the door.

The staffs at reception are very friendly. The rooms are generally clean. The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast , however they do serve simple food like yogurt and bread and coffee and tea. Would have been perfect if they have proper Taiwanese breakfast served like soya bean , porridge etc

I stayed at the Gloria Residence recently and would highly recommend it. The front desk team have been very helpful in local transportations, event tickets purchase, foreign currency exchange, and everything! Would like to stay there again for my next Taipei trip.

This is such a great property: central location, modern and well equipped. The biggest reason I chose this place is the in-suite washer/dryer. However, the drying cycle was not working. We also had some issues with the TV: first is the sensor but it was fixed the next day. The speaker was making this cracking noise so I couldn't enjoy an important broadcasting. I hope they had fixed these before the next guest arrives.

The property is starting to show wear and tear, although it is kept clean, but because of the high humidity in the air, even with a humidifier in every room, there is a musty, moldy smell. The rooms in general are dark, due to the windows being located in the bathrooms, and doors to the small balconies where washers are located. The hotel is fairly close to the neighboring buildings so the shades need to be drawn for privacy. Staff in general were accommodating and helpful. The closest mrt is a 8-10 minute walk, old fashion eateries near by.

The staff are helpful, the basement lounge area is huge, the property is generally well maintained The rooms are not as large as some of the other apartment hotels I stayed at in Taipei And the Gloria does not provide any breakfast or evening happy hour. So it is truly like an apartment, where you have to get your own food

Room felt smaller than photo, but the sheets were very smooth, super clean bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful, lively neighborhood, a bit far from the MRT. The washer and dryer a big plus.
