Ananya Lipe Resort

Ananya Lipe Resort is a beautiful resort with a stunning beachfront location and amazing views. The atmosphere was relaxing, the DJ created a great vibe, and the bar staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also very good, and the staff worked hard to provide good service. However, there were a few downsides to our stay. The resort is still undergoing renovations, and there was a lot of construction taking place during our visit. The noise and strong construction odors affected the overall experience, and I don't think it's ideal for guests to be exposed to that while on vacation. Communication was also challenging because not much staff members spoke English maybe 10%. I called the operator with a simple question about whether I could open the sealed zip bag containing the slippers, but they weren't able to understand my question. During the interaction, I felt that the staff member became frustrated, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, the resort has beautiful scenery, good breakfast, and a great beachfront atmosphere, but the ongoing construction and language barrier made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.

Having a room with pool access was amazing. And the staff at the bars and breakfast were great. However, our room seemed to always get cleaned last (sometimes not even before 4pm) even after we had asked for it to be earlier since we had a young child who needed to nap. This meant our room was only fully cleaned once in a 4 day stay. Reception nice enough but i am not sure there are enough staff at check out times for other queries (e.g. no dedicated concierge/tour expert). Facilities also look a little tired and could do with a paint/maintenance. But breakfast was excellent and there was always room by the pool or beach to laze in the shade. All in all, ok but not fantastic.

A large hotel with a good position on a busy beach (lots of boats and ferries). A minute from walking street and restaurants. Staff were all great and very helpful. Room was a very high standard.

Clean .. large.. always somewhere to sit... Drinks way too expensive compared to other beach bars.. food good, reasonable price

Location so good

Room was nice but a little dark because of the black wood finishings. Pillows bed and linen were all good. Room had direct access to the pool. New Years Eve Party was excellent. Breakfast is very good. Food at the restaurant including drinks were lovely. Loved all the massage girls and my daily massages.

Not a 5 star hotel. It doesn't has a private beach, boats are all over on the beach. Is bad. Rooms is very basicNear the busy pier. Service

Nice decor hotel. The hitelclose to walking street and a lot of restaurant. We love the food from the hotel, there are delicious.

The location was of course beautiful and the staff again amazing as you would expect in Thailand - However a large amount of construction work taking place and parts of the facilities were very worn - For the price you would expect the construction to be completed in low season and for the general wear and tear to be replaced at first sight.

Hotel is tired , building site next door ,hotel is not sustainable no green bins , black bin brown food bins ect I divided my rubbish up but it wa all thrown into a black bin same at side of bar everything thrown into black bag, breakfast was good food quality good except orange juice not fresh staff were lovely but I am afraid the island and its beauty is doomed raw effulant on walking street after rain I would never go back to koh lipe

Lovely hotel right on the beach with it’s beautiful white sands - 2 mins to Walking Street - hotel was very nice lovely beach pool and also lagoon style throughout the property - our poolside room was very modern spacious and clean - breakfast here was really good very friendly staff would definitely come back 🏖️🏖️

Unbelievable time here! Hotel is in the perfect location and has the best beachfront for chilling. The rooms are faultless, everything you could need and even pool access for when it gets too hot down at the beach!! Staff were amazing - service at the beach bar just perfect! Food delicious!! Can’t wait to return!!

Honeymoon suite , lovely hotel. Food was great for lunch and evening meals on the beach. Nice chilled music and great location. Was worried it may be hectic at the bottom of walking street. Only negatives are the curtains weren't wide enough to block out all the sun and as a vegetarian, omelettes and eggs were cooked on the same grill as bacon. The beach is overran with longtail boats - actually seems worse on sunrise beach , the only place it's ok is nr zodiac see sun resort, but the ananya does have a roped off swimming area right in front of the hotel. If I came back I would probably stay here and I definitely recommend it.

Super hôtel with big room and nice pool, if you have the chance to choose a room access pool go for it… Big buffet breakfast. Super service for the transfer to the boat… Pool around the room are way better…

The bed was very comfortable and the pool access room was lovely. The beach area is great for sunset. I think it’s fair to warn people that none of the pool bars you might see in pictures are ever open, this was really disappointing as they were advertised when we booked. No rooftop area either. If you’re vegetarian I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast. Some days there were hot food choices but some days there was nothing even though we asked.

Everything about our day was beautiful and pleasant. I definitely will come back year after year to experience the magic of Koh Lipe, Thailand.
