Excellent facilities

Construction all around the facility. Heavy trucks coming and going on the dangerous narrow road all day long. No good restaurant choices nearby. Tiny balcony. No Thai themed art or photos. Finished the stay with the front desk saying a hand towel was missing. It wasn’t! Bad experience… will not go back….

Rooms are very small, the design of the floor plan is very bad.

Ton was a joy to work with and he scheduled a tour with Elephants, going on a boat to see the islands (and kayak) and we took his tour of the old town.

Clean, modern and lovely hotel. Hotel transport to bang Tao beach which was great.

Me and my family really enjoyed the hospitality we received from the time we checked in. Great food at the restaurant, maids services were excellent. Diamond Resort was excellent attending to any needs you requested with a smile. I highly recommend future travelers to check out Diamond Resort.

The hotel is situated on a narrow road with no pavements but theres not really anywhere within walking distance anyway. There is however a really good spa, Mona, just 1 min walk along the same side of the road as the hotel if you turn left as you come out the hotel. The 2 hour massage I had here was amazing, pressure just right, so relaxing. Would recommend the restaurant within the hotel, Infuse, we had breakfast and dinner and it was really tasty. The room was very small for 3 of us and we were asked wait 15mins on checkin while they made up the sofabed despite me contacting them beforehand to let them know this would be required. Were also asked to wait 5mins on checkout while they checked the room for any damage/loss. We were charged 500thb for an umbrella (£10gbp) which is extortionate!! Not happy with that. They must have hundreds of these things go missing every year and there is no way the cost to replace is that high. Overall it was just about passable for 3 cramped nights. The pool was great but I wouldnt return as we like to walk and explore. The shuttle was good but the night market at boat avenue was not as good as the one in ao nang (krabi).

Modern and lovely resort. The room was clean and had a great view of the pool. We were even given a small surprise upon check in as we were celebrating an occasion. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. They offered free shuttle services to the boat avenue and the beach. They had laundry services but only did them by piece, as we are backpackers we had a lot of laundry to do but they kindly suggested where we would find a service nearby. The area is quiet and a only a 15 min walk to boat avenue in case you had missed the shuttle. Loved that they had floating beds for the pool.

Clean and spacious rooms. About a 5min tuktuk ride away from the bustling Boat Avenue. Staff are courteous.

Property was not close to the area where we stayed the most. However, it was calm, safe, comfortable ,and with a nice restaurant. We took taxis for transportation and in this way we could know more of local culture. All in all, it was a very nice option for us.
