We really enjoyed our stay at kata palm and resort, we had the family room, it is very spacious and accounted out family of 4. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel!

Clean rooms, inviting staff, great pool/bar, small childrens park, decent breakfast, nice chilled place great for families and couples. Would have liked to have had a games room pool table etc over than that great hotel

Great stay, location is very good and the pool is a great size, with lots of beautiful gardens all around. The rooms were well appointed and cleaned well. Only disappointment was the breakfast which was very basic. Definitely would stay here again

Great location near to the beach and easy to get around locally on foot. All excursions pick up from here too, not far from local ports to see Phi Phi islands etc. Good food, nice staff and big rooms

We loved out stay! We had a room, 2215, in the blue building and found it to be clean and confortable. The staff were super lovely and helpful. The breakfasts were fab, varied and plentiful. We had such a great stay. We booked the thai cooking class offered at the hotel and would highly recommend. It was a highlight! Very sad to leave as the hotel provided such a calm environment! Thank you

The rooms were clean, comfortable bed and soft towels. The staff were courteous and very friendly. The courtyard pools and rooftop pool were absolutely wonderful. Ample parking for scooter rental.

The whole experience was awesome . Location, Location,Location!! 5 minutes walk to Kata Beach, shop's and restaurants all within walking distance. The room was beautiful and spotless, the pools ( there's 3) were kept super clean. The food was delicious! But most importantly was the staff!! I have never seen as many smiles as i did at The Kata Palm Resort and helpful beyond words. 100% recommend staying here.

Pictures make this place look a lot nicer than what it is. The beds are absolutely horrible. The hotel itself is very dated. The breakfast is not very good. The staff was friendly, that’s really the only positive. I don’t really understand how this place has so many good reviews. I ten out of ten do not recommend.

Great location — quiet, safe and an easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Excellent value for accommodation and food. The pool area was fantastic and we appreciated the complimentary water. Wish we’d known about the swim-out rooms beforehand — they look incredible (next time) The resort is very large, so there’s a fair bit of walking if your room is at the back. The room was large & clean. The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable initially but were fixed quickly. Breakfast was disappointing to me, but the others thought it fine. While staff were friendly overall, they weren’t as warm as other places we stayed. We all agreed Kata is the best area to stay in & we do recommend this resort.

Food was average. Very sparse breakfast. Lunch was ordered with express request not to have onions (allergy), including in Thai; however, it arrived with copious amounts of onions. Check in quite slow, but friendly staff. Rooms clean, but bed traditionally Thai rock hard.
