I stayed in 3 hotels during my long stay at Victoria Falls, Pioneer was hands down the best one. The staff was incredibly helpful, including lending me their own charger for the night because I had lost mine. The property is beautiful and well-kept. I enjoyed my stay immensely.

The property has a British colonial feeling. I truly enjoyed the garden and the plants. The service was very good as the staff was attentive and courteous. The tall bell person standing in front of the hotel was so cheerful in greeting the guests and helpful in unloading the luggage immediately. The overall experience made my stay very pleasant and memorable.

Ok for a stop over but disappointed with the standard of the restaurant food. A little way out from town with no shuttle bus available. They did have a mini bus but I'm not sure what they used it for. Taxis to and from Lodge were $7 each way which was a bit excessive.
