The hotel was nice and clean. Located on a cobblestone side street. Breakfast was included. Location was great. No AC but ceiling fan worked well. Cafe on ground floor. When we arrived the front desk person named Alejandro made us feel at home and answered all our questions. Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. On a side note Zürich is very expensive for everything and even tap water is charged at cafes and restaurants. There are water fountains everywhere with potable drinking water. We swam in lake Zurich and went to Lindt chocolate factory. Oden Cafe was great with super service.

Nice hotel in a very convenient area for walking around old town Zurich. Lovely breakfast room and delicious breakfast.

We loved our stay at the Altstadt! It's small but so lovely and we had a wonderful time. Super friendly staff and the breakfast options were great. The only downside to mention is that while there is an elevator, you still need to go up a couple of stairs to enter the hotel and then a couple more to get to the elevator. Just something to think about regarding accessibility.

Parking is a 10 min walk away in a public lot. Aside from that it was great. But if you are booking this place for the claim of having parking, consider elsewhere.

The rooms are small. Ants and other bugs everywhere. No ac and it gets hot at night. Lighting in the bathroom is terrible!! The location is great tough.

I love this Boutique Hotel. Great location, excellent staff - friendly, break over backwards to make your stay amazing. One tip, make dinner reservations early for the many restaurants in the area, they fill up fast

Wonderful boutique hotel. I enjoyed sitting in the cafe / bar aling with many locals and regulars. Perfect spot to explore the city from. Close to railstation and public transit. It isan olderbuilding but its charm and staff offset and inconvenience this may imply. That is a very small elevator. The breakfast was tasty and adequate, serve buffet style.

The location of this Hotel was perfect for our trip. Breakfast was fully stocked and the staff was friendly.

Clean room, friendly staff, and a good location to old town.

The location of the Altstadt Hotel could not be better. It is in the quaint old town with lots of shops and restaurants. It is near the tram lines and the Zürich train station so it is very easy to get around. The staff is very friendly and shared a lot of information with us. We had the Design Plus room for the 4 of us and the beds were all very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate but limited, but it got us going for the day. If I returned to Zurich, I would definitely stay at the Altstadt Hitel.

Great location. Central to everything we wanted to see. Staff were great. Very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good and coffee shop and bar were perfect.

An awesome location for transportation, restaurants and shops. Room was very clean (and very small, but totally fine for 2 people). Staff were lovely.
