Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the gentleman who checked us in but he was phenomenal! He was friendly, kind and very knowledgeable about the many activities in the area. Our room was comfortable, clean and had an excellent view of the harbor. We dined at the hotel restaurant on three occasions and each time it was great. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located on a superb spot on the harbor. There are so many things to do within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The only issue we had was at check in. Our receptionist spoke very softly and the receptionist next to her had a booming voice making it almost impossible to hear.

The restaurant is fantastic, staff are great. Comfortable beds, excellent pillows(subjective, I know), and location of hotel is perfect for walks along the boardwalk and being in close proximity to restaurants and museums. That said, room 285 is located right above a noisy area (loud music) and close enough to the gym that I could hear some of the equipment when in use. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again, but ask for a different room/floor.

On the waterfront, no need to drive.

We had a really great time at Marriott. We booked the club room and loved everything that was included in that package.

All good. Everyone was helpful and friendly. For a signature room, window and view were tiny. All else was excellent.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Bonvoy is crap. Asked for a higher floor room call when to a call center and was not conveyed to the hotel. Dog poop on the main lobby. Yuk

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The excellent hospitality started when we were greeted by Reilly and continued until we left. The staff of the M Club were pleasant and very hospitable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. Easy access to the waterfront and very walkable to downtown and sights like The Citadel. The hotel and its facilities are extremely well maintained and the staff is very helpful and courteous. It is worth is to add M-Club to your stay. You can get a full breakfast and/or dinner there that is high quality and very personally served by attentive staff. The club is also open 24/7 with snacks and soft drinks/juices/coffee available. The only downside is that the price of the hotel can get extreme during times when rooms are in short supply or if there is an event ongoing. With taxes and parking all in, the rate/night can exceed $1000. You have to be careful in checking out the booking well in advance.

The Halifax Harbourfront never disappoints! I would strongly recommend this hotel to any traveller.

The dinner men was very limited. The food was not great. Very bland.

Great location flights changed had a direct flight the canceled and stuck us in a full plane in the back

Lovely property with a great location. Downtown Halifax very walkable from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very busy. We booked a room with access to the executive lounge which proved very useful for relaxing and food. Would do it again.
