It’s a nice and clean hotel. Breakfast is decent. Gym is 18 plus only. Staff rude.

Had a peaceful restful drama-free stay

If you want something close to the QE2, then this is it. Otherwise, not worth the money.

Room was nice and clean, the common areas not that much. Carpet in common areas on hallways would use some upgrade. Breakfast was ok not bad but nothing special - didnt like paper cups, plates and wooden utensils - cheap. Overall good!

Good breakfast with enough cozy seating like we are in a restaurant. Nice clean room safe area. My family enjoyed it. We played in their game room, enjoyed swimming pool and hot tub. Just add that lighting should have been brighter in the swimming pool area and on hall ways . Carpet in 3rd floor elevator area needs stretching as I almost tripped .

Room was clean, staff was helpful

Stayed in a family suite which was a good size. When the pull out couch was set up, it was very difficult to get to the bathroom. We booked this hotel because it said it had an arcade AND a games room. There is no arcade. There was a ping pong table, foozeball and air hockey (but one of the paddles was broken) and there was no AC in the games room so it was very hot. I called ahead of time and asked what coins the pool table in the lounge took, and they said 2 loonies and that I could get change at the front desk. But when we tried to play and get change, the front desk told me they didn’t have a single loonie. So I went to the lounge (which is a restuarant/bar) and they told me they didn’t have any loonies either. I had a toonie, so I just needed 2 loonies. They said no. What bar doesn’t have 2 loonies in their till? So in order to play, I had to ask a table of people who were eating for 2 loonies, or drive to a gas station. Also the self serve guest laundry was “temporarily out of service” on our floor, so I asked at the front desk which other floor had laundry, and they told me they were all out of order. So we had to come home with wet bathing suits. The elevator was out of service when we got there, but they fixed that. The carpets are rippled all over the third floor and I tripped a couple of times. Breakfast was on a paper plate with wooden cutlery. Couldn’t eat the cereal as the spoons were flat wooden spoons. The rest was ok but nothing great.

My staff and I stayed at this property one year ago to the date 3 rooms with this year and last year. I am sad to report it has gone significantly down hill in one year. It was dirty - ick in shower grout, couches with stains, build up in the corners. Musty smells carpet pulled up and wrinkled in many places. We will not be staying here again. All 5 of us could not believe the difference in one year.

Old hotel, restaurant food sucked, tiny bathroom sink, ripped carpeting, bed was okay with clean sheets and pillows.

We had a short stay bug enjoyed it.

Power was off for an hour and a half or more. There was no reimbursement for the inconvenience it caused. The water on the floor in the basement caused me to almost fall. Maybe there could be more caution paid to the safety in front of the elevator.
