Basic but everything you need and clean. Staff very friendly and breakfast was great. A bit noisy before the bar closed.

Where to start? Friendly staff - absolutely yes, but that’s about it. Room was so dusty. Couldn’t open the window more than a few inches and it was really hot. Noisy road with drain banging every time a car went over it - all night long! Noise from basement club (we had a ground floor room, maybe higher ones are better). That went on till 12 - whoop whoop!! Room tiny. Bed tiny. Bathroom tiny - didn’t even attempt the itsy shower cubicle. Room was advertised as 16 sq ft ??? lol. There we’re complimentary tea/coffee sachets but why leave us a cafetière pot but no filter coffee for it? No fresh fruit (room welcome card said to enjoy it with their compliments). If we had paid £80 I really wouldn’t have moaned but we paid £149 for one night and that didn’t even give us a breakfast. Shocking!

Our room was based on top of their extremely lively bar which pumped out disco until past midnight. Felt like literally on top of the bass speakers. We fetched the receptionist to stand in the middle of the room and he agreed that this was absolutely not acceptable, but nothing could be done. It's ridiculous that the management thinks they can actually rent out this room. There was no other, and he offered earplugs and a small reduction. Avoid.

Great stay! Lovely big room, curtains didn’t cover the window unfortunately which didn’t help with trying to sleep & I feel the windows could open more, it was small opening

Great vibe! Staff were fantastic! Breakfast decent and definite vibe to the whole place! Loved our stay!

Our room was very small and the bathroom even smaller but the bed was comfy. As we were on the second floor our 2 small dogs were scared to go in the lift so we had to carry them up 4 flights of stairs. In the morning we had to carry them back down. Not at all practical really. But the breakfast was amazing.

Hotel staff were all lovely, secure parking was a real bonus and added to our stay. Really good breakfast. We had a nice quiet room. Would visit again

Great staff who were quite helpful with requests to improve stay, but rooms were a bit dirty and needed minor repairs.

The carpets were very stained and the furniture was dated, but the room and the bathroom were clean, the bed was very comfortable. All the staff Clare, Flo and Judith were really helpful with checking in and any questions I had.

Looked after well and a convenient location

Location loved the bar very comfy bed and nice and clean. Ticked all the boxes for an overnight stay.
