Clean room, great staff, great amenities, value for money

Property is gorgeous, staff are helpful, Forty One restaurant was great. Room was ok but not any nicer than any other less expensive hotel we stayed at during our vacation to Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City. We paid $300-ish per night and it was fine. Hotel itself made up for the room.

Great location, our car was too big to park at the facility.

Great stay with a friendly and welcoming staff. The location was excellent and made it easy to get around. The only downsides were that only valet parking was available and breakfast was not included. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was amazing and the rooms are beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The room phone did not work even though we reported it twice. They told us they fixed it but it did not work. This made the valet parking very inconvenient. Also our room had scaffolding outside of the window and we work up to workmen in our window in the morning.

It's a old hotel but it clean ,staff friendly

We like the location of The Lord Elgin. We stayed in room 707 and everything was good except the tap in the bathroom. It is not secured properly to the vanity and is very hard to adjust. It needs attention. Everything else was fine. Paul Stueck

We booked this hotel after we had to cancel our Lake Superior circle tour due to the Ontario wildfires. It proved to be a wonderful alternative stop! We really enjoyed its central downtown location. So close to Parliament and museums.

Clean hotel and helpful staff but quite expensive for nothing different from any other hotel. You pay for the cleanliness which should be standard at all hotels but unfortunately is not.

Bed pillows and Linens were incredible! Pool and Hot tub was a bonus treat

It is our second time at Lord Elgin. Location is very good, close to all amenities, shops, restraints, Parliament Hill, museums. The hotel is under construction right now, so that affects the view for some rooms. The front desk staff was very accommodating and transfered us to a different room. There we some issues we noticed with a cleaning staff, but the front desk was again very nice, they extended our stay. The food at hotel restaurant is ok (3 starts). We love the pool, hot tub, sauna. There was a day when there were not enough towels at the pool, and the caretaker asked us to leave at 8 pm, the pool's hours are till 10 pm. Overall it was great! Will stay again ))

Staff were great. Property was under construction. The hotel was outdated for the price. Had to pay $50 a day for valet parking that was not indicated when i booked.
