For a hotel that is situated on the main street of Dublin I was surprised on how quiet it was at night. The choice at breakfast is fantastic and should cater for almost everyone's tastes. I happened to be celebrating a special birthday during my stay and on the 'big day' I received a lovely surprise to my room marking the occasion. Although it was small in size I thought the gesture itself was a fantastic personal touch. They didn't have to do it but they did. I found all of the staff I spoke to polite, warm and professional. I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Perfect location. Excellent spacious room, comfortable bed, and cleaned daily with new towels provided . Each individual staff member was helpful and had a smile on their face, perfect,, And the breakfast was absolutely delicious With out a doubt we would highly recommend this hotel while visiting Dublin

A wonderful hotel with modern and old world charm. Staff was warm and welcoming. Had a medical issue and needed a clinic and they were more than happy to help me make arrangements and ensure that I was ok. Room was lovely- it was large with a small love seat for comfort. Everything was immaculate! Also made the best gin and tonic I’ve ever had! It’s right in the hop on hop off bus line so very convenient for site seeing. Lots of fun pubs and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this hotel and would certainly go back!

Room was very small but I only stayed one night so it was fine. Had to park on the street to unload and got into a altercation with a very angry taxi driver. Wish there was another way to enter the lobby.

Finally found a hotel ice machine here. Excellent breakfast and comfortable beds

We paid for the two rooms we booked with my son’s credit card on check in, which was different from my card that I made the reservations with. When I arrived back home I saw I was also billed on my card!!! Hotel was fine but definitely not worth >€1600 for 2 rooms x 1 night. I disputed this with Citibank and they declined my request for reimbursement!!!!! 0 out of 10 stars!!!!!! Would not recommend booking this hotel!!!!

Excellent service, very clean and well prepared breakfast

The hotel lobby and restaurant áreas are premium, the hallways need a bit more cleaning and a better paint finish, it looks more like a hospital than a fine hotel. Housekeeping was excelent and the hotel is situated in a good area to walk or catch all sorts of transportation.

Had a great 9 day stay, the property was well kept and clean. Our room was cozy and cleaned daily. The staff were great and we enjoyed our tasty breakfast buffet. It has a great selection of food and drinks and they even made a breakfast bag for us when we had an early morning tour. The bar in the lobby was lively because of FIFA and we enjoyed late night drinks. I ended my trip with an Irish coffee and I must say it was extremely tasty.

The Riu Plaza: Gresham is a beautiful building. The morning buffet had a wide variety of options and was always well stocked. There was a World Cup match occuring during our time there and the staff made a tv available for the guests to gather and view it.

Room was perfect and the air conditioning an added bonus. The breakfast choice and quality was excellent. All of the staff we met were most professional and helpful. We will definitely return.

The room was great! Fabulous location to walk around. Parking was very convenient. Lots of choices for breakfast. Looking forward to the next visit.,

The girl on reception was very friendly and helpful, The breakfast was fantastic ,what a variety, it was great to see Porridge on the menu with a variety of delicious toppings , The room was very clean and a very comfortable bed.

Centrally located, near transportation, and pickups for excursions.

Staff at the hotel were polite and helpful. A great location and walking distance to all the tourist attractions and train station. A fabulous breakfast with plenty choice.

The hotel was very busy with the GAA semi finals, but, they had planned for it and it was smoothly done. The room was clean,. comfortable and quiet. Breakfast as 9.30 was incredibly busy but with the bistro also functioning as a second breakfast room it was fine.

The welcoming staff were very friendly. The location was central to the city. Temple bar was a good 10/15 minute walk. The room was bright and airy, very clean and the bed was super comfy! The breakfast was amazing! Such a great variety on offer. Al round great hotel which I would recommend!!

I arrived at the hotel with a booking for a de luxe room. The room (319) was very small and dark a filthy outlook, bins and bird droppings and high buildings on all sides with the air conditioning units outside my window and the noise of a tv (presumably from next door). I immediately went to the reception desk and asked if my room was really a de luxe room. One of the receptionist asked if I was a solo occupant. I replied I was, which was probably why I had been given this awful room. After two receptionists spent some time on the computer I was given a new room (357) which had the same outlook but at least I could see the sky! I make no apology for saying I would not stay there again and fully expect this comment to be disregarded, if it is read at all! The photographs I am including (which were the best I could get as the windows didn’t open any further) were taken from the second room I was given on the 5th floor. The first room was on the third floor which was literally on top of the air conditioning units. Carol Clapperton

Excellent Stay with One Breakfast Disappointment! The Excellent aspects: Perfect stay overall: Everything about my time at the Riu Plaza Gresham was truly excellent. Top-notch service: The staff was professional, welcoming, and highly attentive throughout. Great experience: Room comfort, cleanliness, and the central location were all outstanding. We travelled by Aircoach right outside the door of the hotel from Dublin airport. The Downside: Breakfast quality: the only disappointment was the hot breakfast selection. Both the pancakes and the bacon had a strange, plasticky taste. Verdict: Highly recommended: I would absolutely stay here again, but I might skip the some of the hot breakfast items next time. :) :)
