Old Italian charm. Great hotel and location.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel bar was wonderful and so was the breakfast. The location was perfect for exploring the city center.

It was really a ROYAL hotel- the facility, food, rooms and the staff were all great.

Great restaurant

Beautiful hotel!! I would stay here again. Quite a grand entrance and lobby area. The room was perfect, standard double. It was a good size. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with plenty choice. Not far from the train station and walkable to the centre. Very clean. Bologna was a beautiful city and I would recommend staying here.

Everythinks was perfekly

Quite luxurious inside. Room was very clean. Breakfast was incredible. Easily walkable to a lovely park and downtown squares for shopping/eating. Staff was very helpful to my non-Italian speaking family. Would definitely stay again.

It was a true 4 star property but the area was shady, a lot of homeless people/ drug users etc. it was however close to everything.

The rooms were very spacious and the bar was great. My daughter and I had drinks there last night and they brought a whole selection of snacks that we grazed off of. It was a nice perk. Even brought out fresh bruschetta. Regarding the restaurant, Spoon, we were underwhelmed. The price was very unreasonable in my opinion for the food selection that was provided. The food itself was ok - the soup I had was vegetable with a clear broth, no real taste (bland). The waiter provided gluten free bread that was still packaged and I couldn’t even get one open. We were the only ones in the restaurant, celebrating my birthday so I was really looking forward to this. Throughout our meal, the lights flickered constantly and a repairman even came in to work on fixing them (actively) while we were trying to have dinner. When I asked for coffee with my dessert, the waiter seemed bothered and said it would come after I finished dessert. I hinted that it was my birthday and he didn’t really acknowledge although he did later walk by with a handful of candles (not for me). Once I got the bill, I was flabbergasted. It was not the best night but we chose to try and keep a smile on our faces due to the occasion. The hotel itself is very outdated, I’m sure it was top notch in the 1980’s, Our room was nice with large windows and comfortable beds. I was very surprised there was no outdoor pool and apparently there was an indoor pool but guests weren’t allowed to use it?

Booked this hotel for a couple of nights to visit Bologna. Its location is good for the station and old town. The room was spacious clean although a bit dated you couldn’t fault it. The breakfast was everything you could want served in a lovely room. I have no problem recommending this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, great location and very helpful courteous staff. Enjoyed it so much circling back for another few nights.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady. Room was spacious and well maintained. Aircon worked very well at the right setting. Great experience!

This place was nothing but opulence. Glittering chandeliers and velvet and Terrazzo and oil paintings. Very nice bathroom. Great view, comfortable bed. Opt in for the buffet breakfast, it was great.

Excellent hotel, nice and clean. Reception and bar staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, we did find the cleaning lady to be rude when we extended our stay, which is the only negative I could give the hotel. Hotel is well located, could reach the centre and the train station in 15 minutes or less, lots of shops in the surrounding area too. Highly recommend.
