Over my last three stays, the Executive rooms on the 31st floor feel noticeably outdated. The rooms are very basic, with small, uncomfortable beds, and lack the level of comfort and refinement you’d expect from an Executive category. What once felt like a higher-end hotel experience now feels closer to a budget motel. It’s especially disappointing because the lobby and pool area remain beautiful and well maintained, creating a stark contrast with the rooms themselves. Unfortunately, the Executive rooms are closer to a 2–3 star experience at best -some newer budget hotels feel more updated. I’ll likely continue staying at Quartz, which is disappointing, as I used to genuinely enjoy staying at the Grand.
