Brilliant staff, clean room

Not a bad little spot

When we checked in, after a 15 hour flight we had to wait 40 minutes in the check in. After all that , they gave me the wrong room. All this was very frustrating. They then ffered me a bigger room but charged me an additional 60 euros a night and 25 euros a night in city fees which was a surprise.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this hotel! I was a little nervous because of some of the reviews, but I did not have a single problem with my six-night stay here. The room was much larger than I expected and I felt very safe here. There is only one way to access the courtyard and buildings with the rooms in them, which is right past the front desk. The entrance to the courtyard from the street was almost always shut and locked, except when there was hot chocolate and mulled wine with treats being served at the small building in the courtyard. The location was quieter and more local, but still had great restaurants and shops. The metro is close by and very simple to navigate when you get the hang of it to get to other parts of the city. I would recommend this hotel!

Great place to stay and visit paris

The employees at the front desk and around the property were fantastic. Plus you can request water on your way in/out.

The room was nicely appointed with a decent sized bathroom. Also spacious.

Room cleanliness, decor, pretty communal areas

This is a 3 star hotel that tries to pretend its a 4 star, and gets bad reviews by rich people who have much too high of an expection because of it. I can see it fails as a 4 star, certain room amenities are old and outdated, staff is untrained, etc. But as a 3 star hotel, if you are not expecting concierge and bellboys, it is clean and comfortable, and in a good location.

I recently stayed at Les Jardins du Marais and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a very decent and safe area, well-connected to the city, which made getting around easy and stress-free. The property itself has cozy vibes and a unique charm that sets it apart. I initially booked a Classical Room, which I found to be quite noisy and a bit outdated. However, after upgrading to an Executive Room, my entire stay was elevated—the difference was remarkable, and I will definitely book this type of room again as it’s absolutely worth the extra cost. The guest service was exceptional. The team proactively checked if everything was fine before I even approached them, and they resolved my issue swiftly and professionally. Special thanks to Vanessa for her excellent online support and to Ouassila at the reception for handling the room change with such professionalism. Overall, I highly recommend Les Jardins du Marais for its location, charm, and outstanding staff.

The pictures look nothing like the reality, so please be very mindful. When I got to my room, I thought it was a joke. When I went to reception to complain, there were also four other guests asking to be moved.
