A lovely hotel, well served every 20 mins by the local bus. NB the evening I was there the restaurant was closed for a rpivate function, which meant walking 20mins or getting the bus back into town to find a restaurant. The hotel pool was nice BUT only open 4-9pm on weekdays. Come on hotel, that's not good enough!

The hotel room is clean but the facility was old and very basic. The staff at the reception desk were not helpful. There were many guests in the morning buffet everyday.

Nice hotel but very disappointed that the pool isn't open on weekdays - only from 4pm - this should be displayed before booking as we arrived late so couldnt use it

The hotel was located in an area with good transport links. I found occasionally it was difficult in my chair with static electricity. I would suggest maybe a couple of handrails in the bathroom to make it a little more accessible, and a bath with a shower is not helpful for someone who has to use a Powerchair. It's also a bit tricky to leave the room in your chair at times. There was much to enjoy about the room, but it could have been tailored a little more towards my needs. I had written to the hotel about a couple of issues, butdid not get replies. The restaurant staff were always kind and helpful. The wifi was occasionally a bit hit or miss.

Nice clean place the walls aren't sound proof you might be able to hear your neighbors alarm go off !

Great experience, great hotel. However, business travellers were allowed to check-in before 3 when I was not. I was asked when checking in whether it was business or a personal stay

Everything was perfect other than no free parking place and breakfast.

The hotel needs an upgrade, my room did smell of smoke and carpet was not vacuumed everywhere. Every morning at breakfast, I had to queue for 15 min before a table was available. The hotel was not able to cope with a full capacity. For a hotel of this category the food and the service was disappointing.

Walking into the lobby of this hotel was absolutely beautiful. I was expecting a more lavish room. However I was very disappointed with the decor of the room considering I paid for an upgrade. Rooms were very dated and definitely need refurbishing. The air conditioning was very poor and left the rooms uncomfortably warm. A big contrast between the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Munich.

The only issue we had was that the air conditioning was not working. This is fair considering the temperatures we cool. The problem was the noise from the street made it hard to sleep

Clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Pool was only open in the morning on the day we checked in and checked out (we were there for two nights). This was a disappointment. Hotel restaurant was not open on the two days we stayed. We had planned on having a lazy day and made use of the hotel vending machines as there was nowhere else to get food on property. The WiFi was inconsistent.

Very nice hotel, good and quick service ! Breakfast was one of the best ! Everything was organized so well and officient !

My friend and I had booked a weekend at this hotel, we were planning to relax. We had mainly chosen this hotel because of the pool. Upon arrival a notice at the front desk told us, that the pool was being renovated. While checking in we remarked, that we had planned to use the pool. The hotel clerk didn't offer any compensation or substitution, they pretty much ignored the fact, that we were disappointed. All in all staff wasn't overly friendly and the rooms, even though they appeared to be clean, had stained sheets.

A stylish mid-20C hotel operated by a big chain but oodles of space and comfort in parkland surroundings about one mile from the Altstadt.

This is a very comfortable "chain " hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. It is in a quiet location on the main road from the centre of Weimar to the Schloss in a wooded residential area. There is ample parking and it is about a 15 minute walk to town.

The woman on reception was gruff and unfriendly, which made a bad impression right from the start. In addition it was just too difficult to have a table to ourselves for breakfast! The dining-room staff insisted on re-setting the table for four (no twos were available when we went to eat), and although we asked them to set only for two, this was denied. The result was that we kept being asked by complete strangers if they could join us for breakfast. Either sufficient provision should be made for couples, or two people should be allowed to sit at a table for four without any intrusion from others! The cooked breakfast was not good (bacon seemed boiled rather than fried!) and the room was only OK. All in all, we didn't think that this hotel lived up to its 4-star rating. We certainly won't be back and will advise others not to go there.

Quiet and very nice property. Within walking distance to the main town centre. Highly recommend this hotel.
