Overall excellent

First of all, they were good by giving us an early check in. The service at the bar was slow because of renovations they told us. The thermostat in our room wasn’t working properly. By 2:00 in the morning the temperature in the room was 29 degrees Celsius. We tried turning the thermostat down but the register kept blowing hot air. We finally turned it right off and opened the window. Then there was a problem with the fire alarm that kept going off. Started at 5:30 am until 8:30 am. When I told the receptionist about the thermostat not working she told me I should have called down and asked for a fan. Our breakfast was very mediocre. Also an FYI they give people a $8 discount when you book with the hotel directly. Needless to say we didn’t get the discount.

They didn’t honour reservation. I do not recommend staying here. Staff extremely rude!! Sad because it use to be great hotel. Must have sold because you usually don’t see a slide in service like this. Very sad

Friendly Staff. Our King Suite was incredible w/ comfortable bed, great lighting, dual fireplaces, roomy & clean.

The hotel has been renovated and the rooms are really nice. Warm welcoming lobby with a nice cocktail lounge. Pool is nice and has a great sitting area for the non swimmers to enjoy. There’s a lot a parking in the parkade. There’s also an adjoining pub and off sale. Located downtown and close to the university. Will definitely be staying again.

The room is big plus the jette tub is spotless. This is my first time coming here so far im so satisfied and will come again next time.
